  1. Certainly not airplane related but it IS large scale. I picked up their early/late Panther G with clear parts a while back. It looks like a great kit and the reviews I have read mostly say that. I might even build it some time!!! I just ordered their newest issue #5018. It too is a early/late G but without the clear parts. For some reason I have a weakness for the Panther. In my opinion it's the best looking tank to come out of WWII. It's more likely I'll build this one but we will see!
  2. Sure would be nice if they provided both tails! I have my fingers crossed this will be a very good kit.
  3. Thanks guys. The only time consuming thing was the Vector set. As this kit is pretty basic the rest was easy. Trimming, filling and sanding.
  4. Progress. The wings will be attached as soon as I can get the seams cleaned up, etc. Coming right along now.
  5. I think this set would be okay for a B/C with a few small adjustments. The floor should be fine also. Find yourself some good photos and or diagrams and you should be good to go.
  6. Thanks guys. I look forward to seeing some photos Peter!
  7. Thanks. I'm not sure if it would be right for a B/C. I'd recommend checking photos. The Detail & Scale book on the early Mustangs would be a good place to begin. I'll take a look and see what's what.
  8. Nearly done with the cockpit. The Vector set is really nice.
  9. Looks like a December release.
  10. I saw where this was to be released this month so has anyone seen anything on it?
  11. Welcome Gaz! Glad you made the change!
  12. I'd say Andy (Kagemusa) should look in that mirror too.
  13. Agreed Peter. The kit supplied one just isn't up to par.
  14. Thanks Phil. Good old stretched sprue. This one took three tries before I got it right!
  15. Thanks guys! My internet has been down for 3 days and now I'm doing some catch up.
  16. As this will be my 2nd of their P-51A's and a A-36 I'm a bit ahead of the game in knowing what to expect and modify. As I will be using the outstanding Vector cockpit set on this build, as I did on the 1st "A" and the "36", the first thing to do is get rid of all the raised locator ridges, etc on the inside of the fuselage. That done I can now finish cleaning up the resin Vector parts and prepare for painting the inside, etc.
