  1. Here is the problem. I screwed up the armored glass/windscreen. P-40B.
  2. Can someone tell me how to order replacement parts from those guys? Thanks!
  3. Looking really good!
  4. Received the stencils/masks so now I can proceed with the rest of the build. Stay tuned! This is the one I decided on.
  5. It always seems to be SOMETHING doesn't it Peter. I try to be extra careful nowadays as I'm a lot more clumsy than I used to be. I posted a reply on your thread. Hope it helps.
  6. Peter, Bad luck for sure. If you need a replacement spar let me know as I have "several". One thing I learned early on in my builds was the outboard spars are very difficult to slide into the outer wing sections. I recommend using a moto-tool with a grinder attachment to thin them down then apply a little Vaseline along the edges. This will go a long way to easing their fit. Might be a little late with this advise, sorry! John
  7. I still refer to the instructions to be sure I don't forget something. Easy to do at my age!
  8. I don't plan to build any of his birds so go for it.
  9. No I haven't.
  10. They certainly do have a certain appeal. Thanks!
  11. As most of you already know I am a big fan of the Tamiya Corsairs and have build 9 so far. I just never get tired of these very pleasurable builds. As I am waiting for some masks to show up for my Peefartybee I decided to go on and build Ken Walsh's -1 using Barracudacals. As I had already built the engine back in December while I had some time on my hands and was trying to decide on what to build next I'm ahead of the game on this one.
  12. At a standstill right now waiting for masks from TopNotch in England. In the post. While I'm waiting I think I'll start ANOTHER Corsair build. Ken Walsh's a/c looks like a good subject so that is the one I'll build.
  13. Thanks Ernie. No idea as to when the Airfix kit will show up.
  14. No real bad ones Carl so it's onward and upward! LOL
  15. I received a email from someone this evening showing me he had my password. The one he had is the one I use here and a couple of other sites, He demanded bitcoin payment or he would send embarrassing content to all my contacts although I do not go to "those" sites and use passwords, etc. I'm pretty sure it's a scam but he DID have my password for LSM. So, just in case guys, I'd recommend changing your passwords. For the record, I DO NOT view or download porn nor do I have a webcam that I parade around in front of nekkid!!! LOL (Anybody that does that is asking for it!) Anyway, I just wanted to give you guys a heads-up on this "just in case". Jeroen, Is our security up to date? Here is a site that details all that: https://www.hoax-slayer.net/fake-blackmail-sextortion-scam-emails-using-real-passwords/
  16. I appreciate that, thanks.
  17. Maybe this can help Ron. http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/colorcharts/stuff_eng_colorcharts_japan.htm
  18. I'm glad you like it Peter. That kit may be old but still pretty good. Certainly not up to 2019 standards but that's okay by me. Add some after market wheels and cockpit and it's good to go. I too look forward to the Airfix kit.
  19. LOL! You just never know Peter! I have several in my stash.
