Thank you.

LOL Gaz. I decided on a HK Mosquito.
-
Working on the cockpit. I've had this RAF compass in my collection for a while. Good reference for the build!
-
LOL Feel free to peep as much as you like. I'm pleased you enjoy watching my builds.

Had a crash landing?
-
In all the years I was on "the other site" and folks interjected off topic posts (happened regularly) on one of my threads I NEVER had any apologies. Not the first one. I'm glad I am here with a bunch of considerate folks.

PRU blue Mossie! Actually it will be one with black undersides.
-
Just some preliminary painting on the props, wheels and interior parts. Nothing much to show.
-
I guess I'm not the only one with "Mossie Fever" LOL.
-
Sounds good Ernie. I hope you will get back to this build.
-
I have a Tamiya Mk VI ordered and intend to build it when done with this kit. Probably as a night intruder or a night fighter. I'll have to look around for any available night fighter conversions sets.
-
I really don't recall if I had difficulty with the flaps.
-
This will be my second HK Mossie. I built the other kit with the under nacelle air scoops a couple of years ago.
-
Yes, they are, as far as I am concerned, a waste.
-
Funny coincidence isn't it! Thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind. Which a/c are you doing? I have decided on the black underside w/bulged bomb bay PC*3.
-
This is another kit I started a while back but put back on the shelf awaiting "inspiration" LOL. So now I am ready to resume the build. It will be mostly OOB except for some Eduard PE cockpit details and FineMolds seat belts. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't lose interest again. Onward and upward as they say!
-
I hate to say it but, unfortunately, I've lost my "want to" on this kit. I put it back in the box and back on the shelf (not the SOD though). I'll go back to it at some point but right now I just can't seem to get motivated and can't decide on just what to build. I hate it when this happens!!!!

Thanks Phil! -
It should be a enjoyable build even though it isn't a Corsair . I have always liked the Ventura and Harpoon and was pleased and surprised when Revell introduced it.

FS numbers for SBD Dauntless 3? +other ??
JohnB replied to Sir Desmond Glazebrook's topic in Modelling Discussion
By the time of Torch the SBD's had twin .30's in the rear pit as far as I know. I recommend that you get a copy of the D&S book on the SBD. Lots of useful info there.
