  1. Thanks PW, very much appreciated and nothing like now feeling the pressure. 😉
  2. Thanks Kev Making slow but steady progress, as the Saraf is loaded with parts galore.
  3. Rob, very much appreciated and you are so right. Just trying to remove the 'see through' look and working on the flat matting surfaces to look right.
  4. PW Way to go, as the rigging is looking mighty good.
  5. Carl Now that looks cool! Any chance you might finish the stock car now? Sure hope so.
  6. Scott not good at all and now a saline IV shortage ... seems every day we're dealing with shortages of one kind or another. Hope your follow up appointment gets scheduled as soon as possible and the hospitals will be able to find a new suppliers so the schedule surgeries can move forward.
  7. Thanks Paul, very much appreciated. Starting to work on the seams (which for the most part are actually on the Saraf) and care has to be taken to semi fill them in and still insure 🤞they will be visible after painting.
  8. John I know how you feel and when the juices have stopped, it's time for a rest.
  9. Mike Your skill levels and talents are way beyond what is needed and a gem would surely be created.
  10. Thanks Rob Need to check it out and buy what's available. At least it will be a Wild Bill Elliot's Coors #9.
  11. Rob I've been thinking of their Wild Bill Elliot Coors Ford Thunderbird. In that era, he was and still is my favorite. Would love to see a mini NASCAR GB down the road.
  12. Scott Nice start the Hornet and right with Kev that the details will pop under some paint.
  13. Mike Love to see you tackle the ZM 1/32 kit for the GB. I've followed a few build videos and the kit looks tremendous.
  14. Mike I've flown in some tight cockpit and front offices, but I don't think I could handle the claustrophobic cockpit in the Hs-129
  15. Carl Oh no, it's always something ... glad Kev has a fix.
  16. Chris Chalk effects look mighty good to me - dusty and dry... just what it should be. Looking mighty good
  17. Jani Right with Kev - some mighty nice work and the kit detailing is superb
  18. Thanks Carl, completely agree and at each stage the kit still amazes me. I'm still a bit worried about the canopy issues and dealing with it, isn't too far away.
  19. Mike, much appreciated. The Saraf is an awesome kit and the details Meng has provided is right up there with Tamiya - just wish the instructions were the equal. Quinta, what can I say, with each new set I have purchased, the level and scope of detailing as expanded and improved. Same applies with Quinta, time to up their tiny instructions to match the level of the 3D decals.
  20. Thanks John, much appreciated. Building the Saraf is so different then most of my builds, keeping everything new and interesting. Now if I could only get a week of solid bench time in but that just doesn't seem like it is going to happen anytime soon this month.
  21. Rob Agreed - keeping fresh and new, is the spice of life and helps so much in not doing the 'same old' in modeling, time after time. When it comes to dioramas and the build you are doing, imagination surely is one of the key elements and as the work progresses, the vision also changes. Always following with great interest.
  22. Rob You're off and looking mighty good. Thinking outside the box is easily going to keep the juices flowing and something so different will be the finished build. Of course, the GB is going to severely slow down your progress with the MFH Cobra but as you said, it's such a demanding kit, best garage it until you can devote all your build time to it.
  23. Dave Awesome progress on your Toom ... looking mighty good for sure. Seems most the of Manufacturers chose to have the nose gear retraction link added in the early stages of the build and it's just way too easy to break it off . of course, I've done that more then a few times. I now tape a small cap over the part and so far, it has worked out pretty well. Just seems to me to be a poorly designed part that everyone has copied for whatever the reason.
