Managed to get the entire undercarriage completed this week end, only a couple of snags, one being a gap on one of the front leaf spring mounts. Tried something new also, instead of cleaning each part prior to assembly, I stuck it all together and made the choice then of what to clean up (based on what really can be seen). Made assembly a lot faster. M20 by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr M20 by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr M20 by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr M20 by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr Ryan

Hey builders, to attempt to dislodge a serious lack of motivation I am going to build a Tamiya M20 in the classic Verlinden style. The kit is very nice, it was amazing how long it took just to get to this phase. M20 by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr M20 by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr Ryan

Correct, OOB and I might even do an old school Verlinden paint/ weather job. -

This gentlemen....is a mustache! Cool stash Harv, I look terrible with them.

Group Build.....my own personal Kryptonite.

The Family Guy version of Star Wars is quite funny regarding this port. Vader pulls the fact that it could be breached out of a subordinate then asks if they could just cover the hole with plywood. He then insists on getting a couple of estimates to have the work done.
-
Seems like in a production meeting, someone could have just rotated the port to 90 degrees.

Scratch build 1/35th 6W AEC Matador refueller

Not to stifle your creativity, but AFV club make some nice Matadors in 35th, I wonder how noticeable it would be to use those. -

The turret seams look fine and not as noticeable as some thought, same thing with the wing. I think this is a fine OOB example done with the right hands. -
See you when you get back Harv.

Right Harv,..........Tamo ~ Dano...play on words. I'll close with this.... Does anyone know why the Amish girl was excommunicated from her village? .......................Too Mennonite.

You see now what happens if I'm not building. Terrible puns.
-
Book em' Tamo! That is a veiled Tamiya/ Hawaii 5-o joke.

Mine (son) now towers over me and I look up to him, but not my much!
