  1. GMC 2-1/2 tonner will have 3 live axles. (Italeri, Tamiya...perhaps Heller)
  2. I agree. we have all seen those posts where someone says "I thought I was looking at a real airplane"....but these shots do look very convincing, esp. the first one.
  3. Gaz you may have written this above, but what size is the brass tube?
  4. Looks great man, those tables built for those eggs are expensive!
  5. I'm glad you said Special Hobby. For some reason I can accept a out of round or chunky detail from them, when the part is cleaned up the issue is still there, just cleaned up. Shafts are oval, rectangular details perhaps have shifted between top and bottom molds etc. Now take that same shaft or or another perfectly molded part from WNW and that's where the anxiety sets in. I feel more pressure to clean up the part as perfectly as it is molded.
  6. Gold Jerry, Gold!
  7. After dinner, c'mon man get your priorities straight.
  8. Sorry I thought you may have sprayed them NATO Black.
  9. Are those actual bristles from your mustache?
  10. Am I the only one who feels more at home with a chunky eastern European kit, than the latest Tamiya or WNW kit? I don't know what it is but I seem to treat the latter more cautiously and in doing so end up making more mistakes.
  11. I don't have the set man, but that certainly is a rear hub on the box top. I have other sets and they are great.
  12. Those sets are fantastic.
  13. Yep. Lets do baby steps Chinese kits manufactures, don't give us 50 kits a years with shoddy research...instead how about 20 properly researched ones.
  14. I will re phrase. Bill you are not indeed a tool, in contrast you have created a superb reference tool to consult before attempting wood grain techniques.
  15. Clunk, I cant recall exactly but i think HB blew the hub design with this kit...not enough or too many holes in the rims. Just a heads up.
  16. Bill what a great tool. Good show sir.
  17. Looks good Bill. I wonder how we could get manufactures to engrave wood grain patterns onto surfaces. Sure would make life easier. Its just a wash then with no streaking needed.
  18. No in your brand new build thread.
  19. I approve and already am expecting pics.
  20. Too much putty on them gals.
  21. I always felt sorry those with pink or blue hair, seems they are showing that color as a cry for attention.
  22. The Tiger is nicely finished though.
  23. I had to look that word up......yuk.
