  1. Not exactly on my bench, but you get the point.
  2. Deepest condolences Ron.
  3. Spectacular modelling, I would never say this is the accent Takara kit, Bravo! 👍
  4. The sheet came completely dry from a new vacuum sealed bag, the moisture source is the silicon lubricant I foolishly used as a separation agent. Possibly the plaster mold which was still wet LOL
  5. First waffle attempt. I used silicon oil as a release agent and created sea of bubbles.
  6. Ha ha. Yup Paul is right, it is dental thermoforming machine as they call it. I decided to give it a try. today is super busy, but I’ll keep you posted with the results.
  7. It depends on your preferences. The actuator arm was not a biggie for me, I did bend them in a bit though. Bigger issue( in my eyes ) was the hight. I ended up shortening the legs and oleos to mimic the weighted stance. And again its very subjective. EDIT: The picture below can illustrate the difference. D9 unaltered, D15 weighted . Please look at the nose angle as an indicator.
  8. Amazing build. Super realistic finish and excellent detail. Welcome to the forum Mike. Cheers Martin
  9. She's pretty, don't you think?
  10. I like your attention to detail Phil, methodical and crispy clean work. Joy to follow. Cheers Martin
  11. An old Airfix Annual Magazine, I mean OLD one, before my times old contained this article. Our hobby has moved a notch, but I am going to hang it here anyway. Purely for nostalgic reasons.
  12. My first jump was from Mi-17 with the cargo doors removed, good times
  13. Another picture of the executive Mustang seat. Those cushions would not be the case for military orders. .
  14. Yes indeed. It's a nice kit, I got one from Ernie long time ago and traded it for something silly. Almost immediately regretted . It took me a while to find another one.
  15. A million dollar question :), I would say based on the pictures I posted at the very beginning and by John's first picture above, the seat was fabricated in the house. Back of it and the head rest is visible, so as the shoulder harness, yet the bottom part is not. It would be safe to say, that it has bucket just like the front one to accommodate the parachute.
  16. Very nice reference material and exceptional service from WWP, simply MADE MY DAY!
