Cougar is such a cool looking airframe, good for you guys. A question for you all. Have you built any of these fisher kits, if so, how did it go?

Those rivets look mighty fine, probably the best way how to replicate the real deal. der Flieger is nicely detailed as well, your figure painting is progressing with lighting speed. Really nice. Is he wearing US jacket ? -

1/48 C-47 lookalike from Trumpeter
Martinnfb replied to Martinnfb's topic in LSM 1/48 Work in Progress
Thank you for the support gentlemen. So hereβs the deal. Every c-47 is different. Iβm trying to replicate the layout of various vents and scoops based on available pictures. Trumpeter didn't help by moulding the seventh window on the left side, just beside the cargo doors. That was a feature of DC-3. then I noticed that the de-icing booth on the leading edge has beautifully shallow riveting pattern all over. You know, the one that is so hard to fill, but so dully prominent, to be annoyingly visible even under a thick layer of primer. Anyway, Iβm learning a lot, adding and correcting as I go, creating a hedgehog that is becoming difficult to touch without eliminating the details picture time. -

Mark, I am in the exactly same place right now, I think it has something to do with the summer being here and luring me out off my hiding. And that's what I'm going to do, camping in BC for two weeks. No phone, no models, no news faraway from the media.

Indeed it would. Can we stick with the topic please, pretty please, with the cherry on the top
