Martinnfb replied to harv's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
six wheels ? , just kidding , what colour did you use on tires Harvey, XF-84? , just wondering how its gonna look in terms of contrast wth the RLM 66 painted rims. Small progress is still a progress. Cheers M. -

There is a whole bunch of short animated movies available on-line, mostly sci-fi. And some of them are exceptional . Hang it in here if you find any that you like. Cheers Martin

This is going to sound crazy, but I am usually using cold bending. Very carefully applied pressure in small steps along the bending point. Don't be scared of the discolouration of the plastic , but there is only s much you can bend, in this case plenty of room .

Just one more thing, here is the famous picture from Avro factory in Woodford. You can see the red oxide fuel cells on the left, however those are intended for bomb bay use. Yet, I haven't seen red painted tanks in the wings. like this one in a bomb-bay of a Lincoln -

They were green, the red is only a overspray that took place during some repair in post WW2 service. The tank itself is made of inner and outer shell. -

the framework itself is free, but closed up by the fuel tank in place right behind. -
