I am not a Berliner, but that is THE scheme for me as well. -
Exactly the HVSS suspension looks massive and sturdy. And the muzzle brake sits there like a cherry on the top of the cake. Plus I love Jewish ingenious approach and survival mentality.

The wingspan was some 35 meters, that is approximately two meters (six feet) more than B-17 . Here are the instructions. -
OK, I just saw new Bullitt in person and it is one sick machine. Very sleek lines indeed.

Yeah right ? Check out the oil streaks on the gear doors. They beat the hell out of these babies.

yeah I just bumped into some more interesting shots. And yes it is pretty clear that this airframe was painted a lot you love me long time fueltanks Aeroproducts 11'1"

when it was coated with checkerboard pattern the gear bays were repainted white, however , it wasn't the case before. http://www.warbirdsintlnow.com/issue-spreads/mustangs-fall-2016/MIfall16EarlyRenoPt2.pdf

Also check out the gear doors and legs. Grey or olive drab. I will look into it later.

Cheers. Tony, apologies for typos in my previous post. Autocorrect took over However here is one interesting shot of the firewall after strip down And here is one priceless screen shot from an old Reno-film. The big thing is the discolouration of the cowling panels in relation to the rest of the fuselage. Kinda blueish shade. I will send you the invoice later LOL
