  1. That sounds pretty awesome! It may inspire me to finally rebuild my bench with a custom one I've been dreaming of.
  2. Actually no door at all, just an arched entryway. Currently dont have kids so no worries about it staying safe for now.
  3. Picked up an E-3 profipack. I'll grab the gear as well unless I cut down the kit gear.
  4. Thank you Martin, I'm very fortunate to have the room.
  5. Today was "how much nose weight?" day. The answer, I'm REALLY happy I purchased the G-factor gear. However, she's balanced and I'm happy. I can permanently attach the nose now as well. I also reworked the nose gun mounts so the barrels are straight and can be installed after paint.
  6. A slight change of pace, here's where my bench lives. It's my cave of happiness.
  7. Of course, after I purchased it I realized I had a G-10 kit and had to go order an E-3. Oh well, I've needed a civilian build and this is perfect.
  8. Just ordered mine. Been looking for a civilian build!
  9. Great progress buddy. You might even inspire me to modify my area.
  10. I appreciate the effort it takes to get it to a solid level. Your doing great work and inspiring us. Your resin build has prompted me to keep mine and tru to build it.
  11. The happiest place on earth. Solo, dusk, just boring holes.
  12. Hey now, dont hate on the clean and efficient fella!
  13. Here's my bench while actively building.
  14. Thanks Martin. The interior is very basic, but I just felt that most of it wont be seen and rather spend my time focusing on the exterior.
  15. Thanks guys. I glued the fuselage halves together today and set her up on her own legs to see what I'm working with. It feels great getting the fuselage closed up. I also started working on turning the brass barrels into something more realistic looking.
  16. I'll be building some more in flight builds soon and wanted a more dynamic look. I just received the ground blur base from Coastal Kits and how cool is this thing? To me it really adds life to the model. I haven't finalized the base yet but in very very happy with what I received.
  17. I love it Ernie.
  18. Thanks Harvey.
  19. It lives! I've been hammered by work and life, along with trying to knock out a few other builds. I spent today working on the interior some more. The tail gunners position is all wrapped up and I started lining up the waste guns. A bit more painting on the interior and then I'll close up the fuselage.
  20. I'll have to come see your new setup Ernie once its done. I've been thinking about redoing mine too
  21. Here's my bench now. I always have to organize it before I leave it be for awhile. It just makes me feel better leaving it organized.
  22. I was going to get one, then I realized I could have 6 Tamiya/Wingnut kits for the same price and had to pass. I would be terrified I would screw it up and be out a ton of money.
  23. I have a b-25, mig-3, and shortly s 1/48 A-4 going. B-25 isn't too far, mig-3 is fuselage together and wings on. Unfortunately I keep eyeing my DH.2. Heres the bench, as it sits.
