Oh I know. I've got a great wife who supports my habit. She also knows if I can play with this Pitts, I won't try and buy one myself.

The best thing I could have asked for. The wife signed off on me spending the money to qualify in and fly this beauty.

I feel like I'm in school again. Every time I look at the clock I think, "it's only been 5 minutes!!!"

Santa brought me a Mug. I cleared the bench and I'll knock this out as a fun, laid back build.

Hmmm, I do have a lot of reriveting to do on the B-25.

I know how you feel and I'm extremely sorry to hear that. I'm a big, hard headed, hard ass until you mention my dogs. Then I'm a 5 year old at heart. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart and my two current puppers are my absolute best buddies. It's the absolute unconditional love and trust they have for us that melts my heart. I wish you a happy time with the time you have left.

This is just too cool. I'm more excited about watching the raffle unfold than anything else this Christmas.

Wings are glued together now. I've started sanding and cleaning them up, but it'll be a big project restoring the rivets and panel lines. When I can get to the store for paint, I'll get back to work on the interior.

So far it seems to be a lovely kit, but I'm realizing MUCH more work than injection molding. I'll be that much happier with it when done.

Squirrel!!!! My B-25 is still my main focus, but I am going to get started on this resin bird. Its HPH's beautiful L-39. Ernie finally talked me into going resin. I went with the L-39 because it's a type I've flown and its always held a neat place in my heart because of how and why I got to fly it. For now I'll just be cleaning the parts and removing pour stubs. I haven't fully decided on which scheme yet, but quite possibly the one I flew.

It looks great, I'm especially impressed with the look of the paint. I may need to try that technique.

This is my first resin kit. I'll need all the help I can get.
