  1. Insanely well done! Especially impressed by the realism of the road surface.
  2. Great kit, best Sherman ever!! Built it a few years ago myself.
  3. What the hell is a tally?
  4. That P320-going-off-by-itself stuff is very, very uncommon, in my experience, and usually due to some sort of pilot error. The ones that had any issues were the very first ones, and they fixed that on subsequent models. You can also buy it with a manual safety now. Mine does not have one, it is the striker fired no safety type. I find it to be quite safe if you're not a stupid dipshit (which I hope I am not!!). I keep it in a level 2 retention holster so nothing can access the trigger, and take the "ready-to-go" nature of it very seriously, especially since there is always a round in the chamber. The Uberti Yellow Boy is on my bucket list. They do make outstanding firearms. Mine is a Beretta Stampede, but made by Uberti. It is a very faithful replica. Keep trying, you will not be sorry if you get one.
  5. I love 1911s!! I do not like Glocks. They feel cheap and toy-like to me. Plus, if I run out of ammo with my 1911, I can use it as a club. For modern semi-autos, I prefer SIG. I have a P320 Nitron full size with the x-change kit that allows it to shoot both 9mm and .40 S&W. My all time fave pistol is the Colt Peacemaker in .45 Colt. I have a nice Uberti made replica that is a beautiful gun with case hardened frame and 5.5 inch barrel. Just a ton of fun!!
  6. Anyone have any details?
  7. Good call. I'm not fond of that look, either. Too uniform.
  8. We call them "porta-potties" or "honey buckets" here! 😆
  9. I think it would be fun to see a whole bunch of 1:24 and larger aircraft show up. That's pretty uncommon.
  10. Then it's all on you, Mike!! Shirts, stickers, swag, table, everything!! 😁
  11. Dang nice looking work!!
  12. I think next year in Virginia, we should reserve a table specifically to promote LSM, and maybe LSP, too, since many of us are members of both. That way, there is a place for members to connect so no one gets missed. I have not decided yet if I can go, but I'd sure like to.
  13. Here is a photo from dinner Friday with the LSP/LSM members we were able to connect with (sorry to anyone there that we were not able to find). Clockwise from left are Radu, me, my wife Christie (partially hidden by Radu's noggin), David and Kathy Enders (denders), Mike (phantom of LSM, recon on LSP), and Mike's buddy Bob. We also were able to connect with Gary Hatherly of GT Resin, and Carl (bloorwest) and son, but they were not able to attend this dinner. I'll post more photos here as soon as I can. Ernie was planning to come to Nats, but was unable due to a last minute injury (not serious), but I'll let him tell you about that. Tim
  14. I'm really glad you and your son got to come for the day, Carl!! Hopefully, we'll have the chance to meet again sometime!!
  15. We have arrived!! See you tmrw!!
  16. I haven't told my wife I bought it. She mostly doesn't care as long as I bring in enough from the business to pay for it, but I do not have that much saved at the moment. Hopefully it will pay off when we do taxes, because I can write off stuff like that now as R&D expenses, since I use kits to develop or improve products. I rarely just build one for fun anymore.
  17. The B-25H kit just arrived from Amazon in perfect shape. First time I've seen one up close - nice kit! If anyone wondered if the deal was legit, it definitely is! And it's still current if anyone is interested. Good thing I make at least 3 different add-ons for that kit, courtesy of Harold. Tim
  18. Good thing you're going to be out of Milwaukee by tomorrow. Gonna be a zoo.
  19. Scott, I wish you were coming up to Nats, man!
  20. Ditto. On this particular kit (assuming I ever build it 😏) it will all be closed, so minimal detail inside. I might even do an in-flight display because I can hang it to conserve space.
  21. Few of us can afford to go that far, especially two years in a row. Vegas is as close as it will ever get to me in Washington.
  22. That makes me cringe, Carl!! Me too. Now you see why I am pissed that I did it. This trip to Nats is gonna hurt!!
  23. Ouch, that is some pricey trash!!! You should have sent them to me instead. They could have lived on my shelf for eternity, like this one is likely to do. 😏 I seriously considered buying 4 or 5 of them and then selling them on ebay for 200 each, and paying for mine that way. But that just seems kinda low.
  24. Wow. I just bought one, and I had a gift card balance from a return, and a coupon from my credit card company, so my total was 124 USD. That's a screaming deal. Dammit all, I'm trying not to buy any kits right now, and you ruined it Scott! Now I gotta get your order done faster so I can get some money coming in. Carl, if you buy one, you could have it shipped to your family in the states, and grab it while you're down here. Come on, join me on the dark side......
