Yikes! That's close. I'm with Gus - I'll take our mild inland pacific northwest weather. The worst we ever get is the occasional volcano erupting, but that hasn't happened for over 40 years.

I hear you, Scott. I wish I had the time to manage the order like I did in 2018, because it allowed a person to order any shirt style and color they wanted, but every shirt had to go through me because I had them made locally. Massive time sink, and I just didn't have it to spare this year. Hopefully, once Nats is past, we'll be able to set up a more generic LSP swag order system through a supplier that will allow that freedom.

That makes an already expensive shirt REALLY expensive. My inclination is to cancel the order, as I bought two shirts, and really can't afford to pay 65 bucks per shirt. What do you guys think? I'm curious to see the "M8A1 Airfield Pavement Slabs". I've been planning to 3D print some of those soon, and would love to see how they did theirs.

Having towed many a trailer and driven many large trucks in my life, and also having been responsible for actually designing quite a few large parking lots in my regular line of work, I can tell you that most people who lay them out have not a @#&*((&%$ clue what they are doing. The sad part is that those design standards are readily available if you take a few minutes to look, yet we still get poorly engineered things like what you mentioned. A sad commentary on modern standards of acceptance.

Before I went back to the architecture field, I worked for 6 years in the hop industry, making ingredients for almost every beer on earth. The irony of having such a job is that I HATE beer, all beer. I drink bourbon, so it's probably a good thing I didn't work at a distillery, or I'd probably still be there.
