  1. Version(s), they're supposed to do the A-3 thru D-9. Wonder how long that will take ??
  2. Very nice work I must say. Hoping this is an indication of Fly's future release quality.
  3. Hahaa !! Paul, I thot (after posting) that we were talking about 2 different definitions of 'stencil'. I have a Silhouette Cameo and there's no way it can cut small enough to make stencils for stencils I wondered if you had some new technology that could cut that small ...I wish ! p.s. we're talking about making stencils (from cut paper/tape) for data stencils (like 'no step') on a/c .
  4. I'd like to see this.
  5. Looking good Matt. The answer to your question re the rod in the center of the oil cooler fairing is here: http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/1999/10/stuff_eng_detail_bf109g10_fuselage.htm 4th picture down. It was a feature on all 109s from the F on but appears to be missing in some photos. Other interesting and perhaps helpful G-10 pix. Have fun!
  6. Hi Peter, a couple of questions : Do you intend to market this as a kit someday ? I saw this photo which includes your fuselage. I wondered if, what looks like a 1/32 Ki-45 is yours as well. If not do you have any knowledge regarding it ? Keep having fun...
  7. Models stacked to the rafters...what more could a guy ask.
  8. Does look very nice indeed. Wonder how long til the MkVI ???
  9. Not complaining, glad they waited to get it right.
  10. As I recall, this was announced to be release 'last' January. So it's actually late by your math Doogs. Doing a combo kit (like the old Monogram) is a nice idea, just hope it doesn't jack the price tag up too much
  11. This is good news. In the past I've referred to ZM kits as 'transformers in heat' Way to much for most modelers. As was said, I hope this new 'basic' is more like Hasegawa's approach. They'll definitely be making more money. Apparently it's still the SWS series, just divided into 'SWS standard' and 'SWS basic' http://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/sentiment/oyajiblog_056.html
  12. Thanks Jeroen. They did say they would be doing both so the Finnish version should be soon.
  13. Hey Cees, do you know which one ? Dutch or Finnish ?
  14. Considering what you started with, that looks fantastic. I'd like to do Drake's Hurricane someday too. Very nice work Tony.
  15. Apparently there were 2 insignia applied to the prop on these a/c. Can't find any photos of similar prop logos/insignia... Looking good...
  16. Me too !! Nice work as usual John...
  17. Turned out great Tim, might look different on a different background Nice work, I'm gonna have to pick up wunna those.
  18. Striking finish...well done Jan !!
  19. Quite nicely done, I must say.
  20. Yep, you're going the wrong way unfortunately. Scaling down is more do-able. However it can be done to some degree. Rather expensive image editing software like Adobe Illustrator CS6 has tracing functions that can basically turn a raster image (like your scanned 1/72 sheet) and turn it into a vector image which would then be resizeable to any scale. You'd have to start with a high resolution scan like 600dpi or higher and small details like data stencils might not work out so well but it is possible with today's technology. Not easy but do-able.
