  1. Finally happy with all the parts. Added eyelits to the mount that fit the eyelits on the mk103. Some black paint as a base.
  2. Compressed air tanks are reprinted and curing in uv light. IMG_2911.mov
  3. Here’s the printed mk103. Even thought the barrel end came out nice, the master barrel is way nicer so i replaced it. almost ready for paint!
  4. Just bought another brass barrel for this gun. This one has a locating pin at the base which makes it easier to insert into the 3d print
  5. Hi, I use Cinema4D. This software is not the best choice for 3d printing (better suits visualisation), but it is a program that I can work with, so it will have to do. Here's another part of the MK103 cannon I'm preparing for printing.
  6. The resin quality of the MDC gun keeps annoying me. Downloaded a Mk103 file for 22 euro's and wil print one myself.
  7. Printed the ammo drum in different angles with different settings. Looks like this one passes. Also working on the MDC resin mk103. A bit of a dog! Lots of bubbles and mis alignment. The flame damper is from the ho229 ZM kit.
  8. First test print. Fudged up the size, so this print should be a few mm’s bigger, but i’m happy with the detail.
  9. Started work on the MK103 cannon. As said: I'm replacing the MK101 cannon for the MK103. This is the 3d drawing I'm working on of the ammo box. The cannon itself I ordered from MDC. The barrel will be from Master.
  10. More rivets. These should have been 7 lines, but whose counting? :))
  11. Takes a bit of research to see where they were attached and hoe they worked, but this clearly shows them:
  12. I made a boo boo on the attachment of the seatbelts. Fixed it and added the tensioning wires for the seat from EZ line. Also added some detail to another open hatch on one of the tail planes.
  13. Seatbelts added. Working on adding some missing detail behind the seat. Next up: scratching the mk103 cannon. ZM appears to have designed the mk103 cannon some years ago but never produced it.
  14. Opening holes on the bugger is nice and all, but requires lots of research and scratching to show what’s inside.
  15. Adding a few missing panel lines on the wings and rivets.
  16. I live a few miles from the Aviationmegastore. That’s a perk.
  17. Fitting the legs. Tolerances are really tight and you have to clean up everything carefully.
  18. nope. No figures. working on all the hatches and thinning the plastic.
  19. Planning on opening as much hatches as possible. Working on the fuel tanks and adding fuel lines that will be visible through the hatches
  20. Added the conpressed air bottles to the wingroots. Also adding pipes with lead wire.
