  1. Basic colours done. Now for the canvas and seats.
  2. First paint on the jeep. Several shades of olive drab. The Alpine figures fit great. Masked the instrument dials with liquid mask from AK
  3. The Jeep is lovely. The Eduard set in places challenging.
  4. That’s amazing. Glad you framed it!
  5. More work on the jeep...
  6. Got the maps printed on special fine canvas. Cut them in corners so they look like carelessly overlapping maps. Might glue them with wood glue and finish overall with lacquer. The Tamiya jeep will have eduard upgrades, some resin stowage and Alpine figures.
  7. Aaah Sint-Truiden! That’s pretty cool. I guess that means you need to build an A26!

  9. I just ordered two Airtex fine canvas prints. You'll soon find out why.
  10. Found a 1GB high res scan of a ww2 US map showing the Oberpfaffenhofen airport. Will have this printed on very fine canvas. I will adorn the wooden base. 40x35cm.
  11. Lovely. I hate spraying white almost as much as i hate yellow but this looks good!
  12. Superb!! Outstanding!! Looks like you brought it to life..
  13. Lovely work all around!
  14. Another airbrush session. One more and the camo is done. The underside will recieve Alclad aluminium. I have an idea for the base. It will recieve a Willy’s jeep with all the AM i can find and resin figures. A US map of the Oberpfaffenhofen airfield (Munich region) will be the base.
  15. Exactly. This is the technique is used before any other and one I sometimes go back to. Takes a long time, but much more control.
  16. Getting there. Slow going...
  17. here you go!
  18. First paint. No pre shading or primer. Let’s see how that goes.
  19. Thnx! I guess Installed the rear instrument panel. Front pit Revi (Quickboost) and windshield. Still masking the canopies..
  20. Added some duralumin decals to the inside of the gunbay doors. These are from MDC but they kept breaking up. Might get some fresh ones if i decide to do the inside engine doors as well.. Also worked in the rear pit instrument panel. This was a short shot part so i scratched half of it.
  21. Impressive joint work! That should do it..
