  1. Small progress. Tested the camo masks on tge tailplanes. Added some panel line wash. Next: matt varnish and pencil scratches in lighter tones.
  2. Thnx guys! Almost finished the black. Can’t wait to shoot some camo!
  3. Quite like the detail in the turrets. I can really see them detailed up a bit and painted.
  4. Small progress. Slowly building up the dark in various mattes shades...
  5. Cut out and sanded all the resin CMK bomb doors. These are far more accurate than the trumpy ones. And less work than the eduard ones... And first paint is on! Black with a hint of grey to tone it down. Slowly building it up...

  13. Blending in the photo etch escape hatch frame. Replaced the fuselage landing approach thingy (cees?) with rod and metal tube.
  14. Thnx! It’s AK484 burnt metal. Indeed, lightly applied
  15. Getting closer to the painting stage! used AK extreme metal to replicate the heat burned cowling rings. These were not copper, but the heating caused the steel to turn colour. (As per Cees) Ak black base: AK extreme metal burned steel:
