JohnB
I'm curious as to which is the better kit. I have the Must Have kit but am undecided whether or not to get the ICM version. Do any of you have some info? Thanks in advance.
GazzaS
A model in the hand is worth two on a website. That being said, the latest ICM kits are pretty nice, but definitely not Tamiya quality. I'd at least have a good look at the kit you already have first... maybe dry fit the main parts.

Nothing, in my opinion, that really tells me what I want to know about accuracy, build problems, etc. Thanks.

JohnB
I think I will get the Must Have kit and the ProModeler kit out and compare, etc. We'll see how that goes and then I'll decide yea or nay on getting a ICM kit.

JohnB
I don't have a ICM kit to compare to the MH kit but here are some photos of the MH part trees, etc. Just looking at the unassembled parts it appears this is a really nice kit with lots of resin parts and some PE also. The panel lines on the wings and fuselage are a bit "deep" but not all that bad in my opinion. As you can see, you can build either version of the gun-nose a/c plus either the early or late canopy. I haven't seen a review on a built up kit so far. Just eyeballing the fuselage halves it appears to have the same width as the ProModeler kit. ( To be honest I never really thought the ProModeler/Monogram fuselage was too wide. It always looked okay to me.) For now I will pass on getting a ICM kit. Hmmmmmm.....ve vill see! I don't plan to start on this just yet but it IS on my list of "to build". 5
Old Dog
Thanks for that ! I must live in a vacuum as I had never heard of the 'Must Have' kit. I do have the ICM kit but it's not on my immediate build list yet.

Peterpools
John Tough decision for sure as to which kit to build. I still have the HB B-26B kit and just haven't been able to make the decision as to build it or go for the ICM 48th scale kit. Hoping your choice will help me decide, which way to go Keep 'em comin Peter

I had a nice "rewards credit" at SB and saved $52.00 on the kit.

JohnB
I just today received my ICM A-26B kit. Sure looks good in the box! Very petite surface details, etc. Outshines Monogram/Promodeler and Must Have. Although Must Have has a lot of good details, etc. I'll have to build this 'un in the not-too-diatant future.
