Calling this one a wrap, first Rye Field Models kit and I am impressed with the fit and detail. This is the no interior boxing but with engine. Albeit there is a lot of the interior included several items of the engine are missing. It’s a shame as the engine builds up nicely, the one item is the fans. RB m/c barrels used but kit main armament. Model finished in Vallejo Model Air and Vallejo Model Washes. Mig pigments also used. Hope it’s meets your approval………

my inspiration……

Very nice Phil, all around. Your IV looks positively busy, with the great paintjob and weathering. The worn Schürzen add to the appearance.

Cheers Rob

Great job on your panzer, Phil!

Thanks Gaz, enjoyed this build. Probably should take your idea and add some figures. I have some from various builds, I may look them out……

Thanks Rob, much appreciated. Really enjoyed this build, it’s difficult to find balance on weathering and general wear and tear on a vehicle. Hopefully I found it?

Terrific build and some very convenient weathering - so very nicely done

Thanks Peter, learning all the time on every build. Would well recommend RFM even though I still have a mountain of sprues left over, more Panzers I reckon…..

Nice mk.4 Phil, I like the weathering, just a drop of black to the exhaust and she is ready to fight bolsheviks . :)

Cheers

Excellent work. Lovely finish on it.

Where is the B&W picture taken? Do you know what unit it is?

312 belonged to The 502nd Heavy Panzer Battalion (German: "schwere Panzerabteilung 502") and the pic was taken on the Eastern front……
