More weathering. Still much more to do.
Also added the instruments to the side of the cowlings.

So when in action the cannon flipped into the belly and the barrel fitted into the ring?am I missing the cover?:hsmack:

No. The gun only flipped out when serviced. The cover i left of. Why? Because the cover was left of in service often. Like on this white K

Great detail, just reading up the differences between mk103 and mk108’s as used on the Fw190 A-8 R2.

the mk 108 uses 30x90RB mm ammunition.

the mk 103 uses 30x184B mm ammunition.

So 103 more punch for your money. Toying with idea of adding them on to my Border Fw 190 build…….

Correct. I have both original complete rounds. The mo108 is pretty easy to find. The mk103 not easy.

Almost there. Need to attach all the hatches. Add an aerial wire. And some other small bits. Aah, and the gunsight.

Note the hinging PE nightmare engine hood on the Kettenkraftrad

First steps of the gunsight. Inside this arrangement I will place a Quickboost Revi 12 gunsight.

On the side I will add two thin wires that go through the small holes of the louvres.
