Peterpools Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Some very nice solutions to what seem as if HB was asleep at the switch when designing the kit. It almost seems they just wanted the kit out the door and left it with so many issues to be dealt with by the builder. 1
FullArmor Posted October 7, 2023 Author Posted October 7, 2023 Most of the issues are related that there are 3 versions of this kit. You must drill holes or cut out pieces. 1
FullArmor Posted October 8, 2023 Author Posted October 8, 2023 Tedious process. One done one to go. 5
DocRob Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 PE can be delicate and with parts like yours, everything is about the sequence, as not to corner yourself, bending in a wrong process. There are only right angles, except one; I may have used only a pair of bending tweezers to get the contour right and skip the jig. Anyway, the result counts and your light guard looks good. Cheers Rob 2 1
FullArmor Posted October 8, 2023 Author Posted October 8, 2023 Bending jig is must if you have poor eyesight and shaking hands like i have 4
FullArmor Posted October 15, 2023 Author Posted October 15, 2023 Got new phone so better pictures from now on. Trackday. 4
FullArmor Posted October 28, 2023 Author Posted October 28, 2023 "Doghouse" 4 machineguns firing all directions. Would be deafening to be inside when combat. 3
FullArmor Posted October 29, 2023 Author Posted October 29, 2023 Main parts attached. A lot of work put into this point already. 6
FullArmor Posted November 19, 2023 Author Posted November 19, 2023 Construction finished. I'm putting this project on hold. I have no possibility to paint this right now (small rental appartment and it's freezing outside). 6
Peterpools Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Some mighty nice work and hopefully the situation will change to where you can paint inside. 🤞 1 1
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted November 21, 2023 Administrators Posted November 21, 2023 I’m watching this with much interest! 1 1
