Martinnfb Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Thank to Ernie this beautiful kit ended up on my desk and she is a beautiful pile of plastic, well was. I started few days ago by cutting out the extra windows for the navigator and scratching plastic add on armour for the nose. "But there is a photo etched one in the kit..." you would say, yes it is, but why would I looked into the instruction beforehand, right?! This is where I am as of now. 3 3

When I first saw the holes being drilled in the rear fuselage I thought you might be doing a backdate and deleting the turret. 2
Martinnfb Posted February 1, 2024 Author Posted February 1, 2024 No backdate. I was contemplating scratching Soviet UTK turret, but I would like to finish this at some point. here’s the progress from this evening 6
BlrwestSiR Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 You're just cracking on with this. The interior is much more detailed than the B-25 kit. 3
CANicoll Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Wow, you are making amazing progress. Looks terrific. 2

Martinnfb Posted February 1, 2024 Author Posted February 1, 2024 This kit is absolutely forgiving and well designed. Clicks together like Lego. 8
Martinnfb Posted February 1, 2024 Author Posted February 1, 2024 Added the step release button and this mysterious patch that is visible on many commie Bostons. 5
Martinnfb Posted February 2, 2024 Author Posted February 2, 2024 Eduard presented a huge improvement in terms of sizing and detail. Maybe too big as it seems . 10
Martinnfb Posted February 2, 2024 Author Posted February 2, 2024 Just a smidget In the cockpit I used the HGW Sutton harness, placards from Airscale and the rest it’s all kit. Not much is visible anymore. 8
Landlubber Mike Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Nice work Martin! Moving along quickly and looking good! 1 1
CANicoll Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Looks terrific! Eduard's tyres are a huge improvement. Amazing how little is seen of the cockpit however. 2
