JohnB Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I've decided to build another P-40K using Tim's resin tail piece and a Hasegawa P-40E. I'm considering these two but haven't decided for sure which one just yet. 🙂 9

BlrwestSiR Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Looks great John. A shark mouth is always a good choice. 3
belugawhaleman Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Just a question; what's the difference between the resin and the kit tail? Are there fit problems with the kit's tail? I'm not familiar with Hasegawa's P40 kits. Nice work so far BTW. 2

The resin tail is to convert it to a "K" which had a fillet added to the leading edge. 3 1

JohnB Posted Saturday at 01:45 AM Author Posted Saturday at 01:45 AM I'm expecting the new tail piece to show up the first of next week. Then I can resume work on this kit. 3

I'm always game for another Warhawk from JohnB. BTW, I need a resin K tail for a project I'm planning to do one day. I thought I would do it myself with scrap plastic and putty...but who am I kidding? This resin tail will just save time and hassle. 2
