Martinnfb Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago There comes the time when we have say good bye to all those unwanted projects, old relics that have been sitting in the stash for ages or any modeling related material deemed to be obsolete, unnecessary or otherwise useless. So share, what went to the local landfill today? 😈 3....2....1...GO! 1
Martinnfb Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago Mug—9, Bee29,F-4something, Airacobra,Fw-190, jagdtiger , Vodnik, all kinds of junk I use to dwell on for ages in hope of a better tomorrow.  Feels so good.  3 1 1
BlrwestSiR Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I've done that many times in the past. Does feel good to clear out projects that you know you'll never get back to.  2
Count0 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Well, Ok. I sold one PCM Spitfire Which I can't explain buying other than I must have fallen on my head before stumbling into the hobby shop... Â 3
belugawhaleman Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago That's what will happen to my collection after I shed this mortal coil.....unless I have the lifespan of an Galapagos tortoise😑 I'm thinking of that Tortoise ( not A Galapagos) that's been living on the Island of of St. Helena since 1837. Poor devil. I would think if someone were to break the communication barrier between animals and humans, this poor creature would be saying,- perhaps screaming- "for God's sake!".. "Kill me!") Anyway, we must face reality and realize our projects may never reach fruition. Well done Martin for grasping reality.. In my case I imagine that the unrealistic supposition of possible future projects gives me hope for the future. It's fun......As Blondie ( Deborah Harry) said "Dreaming is Free". Anyway.......... We'll see!😀 3
ScottsGT Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Let me see, it the past couple of weeks I’ve sold on eBay….. 1/48 MRC/Academy CH-53 1/32 Huskey 1/48 AC-47 1/72 C-54D Not modeling related, an old Kodak Brownie in the original box.  A left over from Moms estate.  Just clutter.   We have a vacation coming up in a couple of weeks and will be gone almost three weeks between the trip and planned adventures (more trips) when we get back to the states.  Once things settle back down I’m planning on posting a lot more items up for auction.  My basement area is a disaster right now with all the boxes I’ve collected and models stacked up to liquidate   3
Martinnfb Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago I forgot to mention, today I will be heading to the local HS to drop off a bunch of models for consignment sale. Mainly armour and some 1/48 planes. If I persevere and hold on to this trend I will start selling off  smaller scales and stick with 1/24, 1/16. Well that's the plan.......for now.  2
Count0 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I misunderstood this topic. Throw out or otherwise dispose of rather than sell. I think in most cases I would scrap the model for parts to add to my Nernies bin. For kit bash / Scratch building. As I did here in my friend's video. In this case, 40K terrain. Â 2
