JohnB Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I recently completed work on this model. I have always liked the wasp insignia on the '109's and '110's and decided it was time to build one. Decals came from the Kagero Topdrawings book on the Bf-109E. I hope you like it! 2

Paulster Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Great scheme. How many kits of the 1/48 Monogram "E" did I build and blow up back in the early "70's? Lots! $1.50 each ay Alhambra Wheel and Hobby. 1

efrick Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Beautifully done John! I have always been a fan of the "wasp" insignia on the 109's and 110's as well. 1
lawman56 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Beautifully done! Another kit I'd like to build someday..... 1
JohnB Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Thanks guys. The only real trouble I had with the build was trying to get the Aires cockpit to fit. I wound up only using the Aires sidewalls and seat. 1
Paulster Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Thanks guys. The only real trouble I had with the build was trying to get the Aires cockpit to fit. I wound up only using the Aires sidewalls and seat. Previous post of mine. Posted by Paulster on Yesterday, 08:34 AM in LSM Aircraft Work In Progress Sorry Cees. My poor attempt at humor. After several projects using Aires products, I am convinced that "Aires" is Czech for "does not fit". 1
