Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 18, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 18, 2015 Doesn't look like a fatally flawed, cartoon-like monstrosity to me Loving it so far! Will you Haggo this model? I will Haggo it to hell and back!
Administrators James H Posted July 18, 2015 Administrators Posted July 18, 2015 I will Haggo it to hell and back! Is that a supper Haggo then, or just standard?
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 18, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 18, 2015 Is that a supper Haggo then, or just standard? A 'Well done'
Wingco57 Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Good to see you getting re started with the Mossie. Cees
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 19, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 19, 2015 Underside sprayed: 2
Administrators James H Posted July 20, 2015 Administrators Posted July 20, 2015 Bloody gorgeous Finished today?
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 20, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 20, 2015 Pfffff Shooting some more grey: 2
Administrators James H Posted July 20, 2015 Administrators Posted July 20, 2015 That's looking cool. I found the Mossie harder to finish than a metal skin aircraft. Plain surfaces with few lines and fasteners, and little to add highlights to. You're doing well with this one.
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 20, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 20, 2015 I can't wait to Haggo the hell out of it! 1
Administrators James H Posted July 20, 2015 Administrators Posted July 20, 2015 I can't wait to Haggo the hell out of it! Did you order the sandblasting equipment?
Iceman Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Careful or you will get the Haggo delete, LOL! Beautiful work Jeroen, looking forward to more! 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 22, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 22, 2015 Finally found a good alternative for Blue Tack that is available in dutch stores. Bison Patafix. Perfect. 1
Administrators James H Posted July 22, 2015 Administrators Posted July 22, 2015 Jeroen You are one sick young man!
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 23, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 23, 2015 Cheers guys!
GusMac Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Lovely burnished looking finish on the gear doors, Jeroen. Kudos. Cheers, Gus
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 25, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 25, 2015 Masked the roundels with Mal's Miracle Masks. Great stuff!
nmayhew Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 looks great Jeroen! how were the masks right next to the little bump on the wing? cheers Nick 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 25, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 25, 2015 looks great Jeroen! how were the masks right next to the little bump on the wing? cheers Nick Well, the material is flexible and rubbery so i could rub it in there. Still a little bit of under spray, which i will address tomorrow...
Administrators James H Posted July 26, 2015 Administrators Posted July 26, 2015 On the home straits now! Looking real good, but be careful applying the fuse rounded over the rib. Keep pushing the mask down just before you spray, and spray away from the external edge.
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted July 28, 2015 Author Administrators Posted July 28, 2015 Some new grey hairs, but happy with the result. Masked the 'Keep off' area.... It all needs a few touch ups here and there.. 2
Administrators James H Posted July 28, 2015 Administrators Posted July 28, 2015 Your perseverance paid off, especially with those fuse roundels and radiator stencils. Lovely stuff, now get the bloody thing finished! 1
Marcel du Long Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Masking, oh yeah! Great result so far! Marcel.
