Nice save on those barrels, no creases? Never knew damage like that could

Be mended.

Cees

It can! Perfectly round now.

I moved my attention to the canopy door. These pics show some needed detail. Lever. Hinge. Locks.

Lever:

And... I got the paint i need for the 3 color camo:

Brown: FS20059 >> Gunze H17

Green: FS24077 >> Gunze H36

Beige: FS26360 >> Gunze H332 (This beige is actually light aircraft grey...)

Beautiful work Jeroen!

Great research pics you are using too--can't wait for paint! That scheme is going to look cool.

It is nice to see a large sale Dutch aircraft finally represented--even if it is in resin. I wish someone would produce a Fokker G.I in 1/32!

I particularly like early WWII aircraft, and I am glad some manufacturers are getting around to producing these.

Looking mighty fine so far Jeroen, can't wait to put mine together seeing this. But I'm in the middle of rebuilding my man cave. I'll get a new dormer (dakkapel in Dutch) this wednesday and after it has been placed I'll need some time to rebuild the room. Moddeling progress is thus on a alltime low again.

Hi Wouter,

All that... And finish your Me410!

I'm almost ready for paint. Add the landing lights today and re-did some of the rivets that got lost with sanding.

As said before I managed to destroy the prop shaft. Sent Simon of Silver Wings a mail, and behold! Here's an all now prop shaft, well packaged in a plastic container.

Very happy boy...

Need to polish the landing light covers:

The aluminium parts received some base alclad and hairspray. The cowling already has some chocolate brown and chipping done.

not going about this in the traditional way. That would be: mask everything, spray in one go.

Since I'm using the hairspray technique, I'm doing this piece by piece. The reason for this is that the paint hardens out quick, which makes the chipping technique harder if you have too much time in between.

Spraying the camo freehand Jeroen?

Cees

Actually no.

You can see a harder demarcation line on one side. This is where i used soft clay for the edge. The green will complete the scheme. Hopefully this weekend...
