harv
I'm not sure Carl. They even carried larger rockets. Sometimes on inner bomb bay doors or on the fuse sides..... Harv
BlrwestSiR
I've got a head on line drawing but it's too small and doesn't have any dimensions. I don't think the bomb bay door mod made it into service. There was also one that replaced the nose cannon with a rocket launcher that they could reload from inside.

Martinnfb
Profimodeller makes a set and the instruction sheet provides placement as well. http://www.profimodeller.com/detail/p32208-rockets-for-b-25-gun-ship/

BlrwestSiR
Thanks Martin! Those are some great photos. Looks like the Profimideller instructions have what I need. Carl
BlrwestSiR
A tiny bit more progress. I installed the starboard waist gun and ammo belt on French Kiss along with the tail gunner's station. That side is almost complete now and then I can start on the port side. BlrwestSiR
So I started to do some more work on the MLG. There's a couple of lines to add to each leg. HK moulds them thin enough that you need to take care getting them off the sprue and cleaned up. After doing that successfully, I still snapped them in half. So I decided to try making replacement ones from wire and strip styrene. The finished lines: I used some soft wire at the ends to replicate the flexible rubber sections. They'll be painted black later on. Carl
BlrwestSiR
Next up was the Nose LG. I found another broken bit for one of them so I made a replacement. With the legs done, I started installing them.

BlrwestSiR
It was a fairly busy weekend so I didn't get too much time at the bench. I did make some progress though. First up was the booster motor and chutes for the tail gunner's position on Betty's Dream. While those dried, I installed the belts for the gunner. Next up, after painting the booster motor, I installed the first of the ammo belts.
BlrwestSiR
Then it was time to install the gunner's station into the fuselage. I then added the second section of ammo belt and the box. I'll do the waist gunner's position on the port side next and then it'll be ready to close up. BlrwestSiR
The waist gun is now done. So for Betty's Dream, I have the nose gear to install and the hatch covers for the two crew entranceways. Then she's ready to be closed up. DocRob
Stunning work on the interiors, nice attention to Detail. Your work looks so real, that some figures would add to the picture. Cheers Rob

Which will be barely visible. 1 hour ago, DocRob said: Stunning work on the interiors, nice attention to Detail. Your work looks so real, that some figures would add to the picture. Cheers Rob Thanks Rob! A set of crew figures would have been cool but then I'd be looking at another year since I'm not the best at figure painting.
