Looking forward to seeing more of your build😀 This is the 90mm gun version😀 TBH it was a bit random , it was on offer online at Jadlam cheap so picked it up $20? . Late night browsing their clearance section can be a bit impulsive . The figures cost me more ! 3
belugawhaleman Posted Friday at 01:26 AM Posted Friday at 01:26 AM Sounds look a good deal. One thing I like about Hobby Boss is they aren't afraid to offer subjects that are not mainstream. Things like the EBR 10, Schnieder, and the obscure Vickers MK II tank that I have in my stash. 2

I agree , I've not built anything of theirs that I didn't enjoy ; -Wildcat , Corsair , F84 , King Tiger ...that Saint Chamond off top of my head. Parts count is a little higher than Tamiya but not OTT , occasionally some "easy" PE and I never have a problem with fit . What they often don't tell you is what units their decal options represent , but for the price it's a better bet than some of Trumpys offerings IMHO. Even the mouldings/ surface details can be quite delicate , better that Arsfix , but not Eduard level Just picked up their 2023 Devastator , which looks a nice model , masks and all for £34 ! 3

Yes, I noticed that about the markings.--I've never built one of their aircraft. I may start their EBR 10 this week since the aftermarket I ordered for my Tamiya Sturmtiger won't arrive for awhile. I have a pile of kits waiting for painting that I have to get to....I guess I'll have to wait for a long weekend to get caught up. Or, I might make a trip home to grab that Hobby Boss Vickers Mk II......I have a set of Friuls for the Matilda II that may fit that kit. Looks interesting. 3
GusMac Posted Friday at 09:08 PM Posted Friday at 09:08 PM Still waiting for the paint for the real exhaust area, so moved on to building up the load out, all kit parts other than the Reskit SUU-16 gun pod. I know that's probably wildly inaccurate for the airframe I'm building but I love the look of the Phantom with the centreline gun pod and no-one will see this bar me once it's in the display case, so.... Have to say I'm quite impressed by the ZM engineering for the missiles as the 'diamond' bases of the fins fit very snuggly into the cut-outs in the missile bodies and give a far better purchase than the butt joint a lot of other companies leave you with. 6
BlrwestSiR Posted Friday at 09:22 PM Posted Friday at 09:22 PM Gunpods and F-4s just seem to go hand in hand. The most notable being Chico the Gunfighter. I put three SUU-23 gun pods under my Tamiya F-4E when I built it influenced by Chico and a gun harmonization chart I found in a book showing that many. Carl 5

Nice progress, Gus. These ZM F4´s are pure pleasure builds. Like you mentioned, the engineering is fantastic, as is the fit and detail. If there weren´t the stencils, I would build another. BlrwestSiR Posted Saturday at 03:34 PM Posted Saturday at 03:34 PM With my left shoulder and arm finally on the mend, I've been able to spend a bit of time at the bench. I wanted to continue on the Gundam Wing but didn't think I was up to airbrushing and decided that just gluing stuff together would be a better idea. So here's the Mirror Models Diamond T wrecker. Lots of small parts. The engine is almost 50 parts. Just about every part needs a tweak or two to fit properly. So probably not the best choice but oddly, I'm enjoying it. 5
FullArmor Posted yesterday at 08:35 AM Posted yesterday at 08:35 AM I started building a Tamiya kit. The cheapest one I could find. I'm trying to practice building car models, which I don't have the skills for yet. I added extra details to the interior because it looked so empty. This car has air jacks. Added air lines to it. After Christmas I will start painting the outside of the body. Merry Christmas everyone!🎅 Castrol Toyota Tom's Supra GT Tamiya | No. 24163 | 1:24 5

At least you couldn´t let go off the drybrushing . I like it FA, the interior looks great and the added details let it look busy. Cheers Rob 4 1

Cheers Rob According to the instructions, the car should be white both inside and out. However, I thought this was too boring a color option. 5

That would be a different paint scheme that's for sure. 2
