Why would you buy a merkin?

O.k.....I have to admit, I had to Google Merkin. It's a subject... That..I didn't

know much about. Being a marine mammal...a cetacean.. I must admit I

never knew such a product existed . As we, for the most part, are completely hairless. Well, to each his own, perhaps useful

in some cases. Still, perplexing..

No! Not at all. The M3s were lovely in their awkwardness. I'd love to see a

big 1/16 scale version!....Imagine, all those lovely rivets!....Well, one can only hope. But then,...I'm still waiting..for a big-scale Brewster Buffalo!

Must say I chuckled... LOUDLY!

But yes, they are common for the fairer gendered actresses.

As far as Belugas, I once saw a flock (is it a school, pod or herd?) in the Cumberland Sound on Baffin Island. Must have been 10 000 of youse...

Is that a T-33 ? Which kit is it?

Yup, it's the Special Hobby 1/32 T-33  kit. This is my second one. Learned a lot from building the first one so this is going a lot smoother.

It's going to done as Mako One. I had originally planned to do it in 1/48 before I found decals in 1/32 for it.

The hardest/fiddly-est part of the T-33 build is fitting the intakes.

It went ok and I'm going to uses some Mr Surfacer to fill in the small seams/gaps.

I've also added a spreader bar at the rear to make the fuselage shape better fit the lower wing.

If you want to build it to the standards of 1/32 scale, yes.  If you want it Carl, I can send it your way, all available aftermarket included.

That makes more sense. I think I'm good but thanks for the offer. I think my bench might collapse if I put another kit on it.
