Luckily I have a ton of hotel points so I can stay for free.  I've never been before and am curious as to the schedule.   What days are must be there days? When can you enter a model and when is judging/awards?

Says right on their web page the hotel has not opened convention block yet. So how did you manage that?

Tried it on my own and it said there are no rooms available

Apparently there was a small time period when it was open.

The room block is sold out already. I booked two months ago but I’m paying 289.00 per night. If I attempt to change it, I will lose my room.

The rooms at this hotel never went live according to the desk clerk, instead they were pre sold with a very few being left. Recon, you got lucky. 

There were only 225 rooms in the block, and I expect they all went to the local club members and IPMS Brass.

Just booked my room at the Courtyard just down the road from the Embassy.   Thankfully my life in hotels pays off and I was able to just use my Marriott points.

I gotta be realistic and figure out what I’ll get done. I’ll have the Lanc, I want a racer there, plus the Guppy will be for display.

I’m going to try for the B-36, but I’m not rushing that one whatsoever.  I think it’s doable, so we’ll see

That's an ambitious but doable goal.  Think I'll have 3 with a possible 4th.  Corsair, two Reno Mustangs, and maybe a Dauntless.

Looks like the embassy suites room block will go hot tomorrow at 3pm central time. 

Those that live in other time zones you can figure your time based on the 3pm time.

I booked  MY hotel Room yesterday with the Holiday Inn Express and suites at San Marcos.. not far from venue so I have been led to believe.

if I get Lost just look out for ME..

Will be coming to Texas.... so looking forward to seeing old friends and maybe new friends too.
