Hi all,
Here's the completed resin WW1 Macchi M.5 fighter sea plane in 1:32nd scale (HPH Models).

As usual a full and detailed build log in PDF format will be available from my web site soon,

Beautiful result, Mike. This is not a « shake-and-bake » kit, but you have demonstrated it could be built in a masterpiece.

Extremely well done :thumbsup2: !

Wonderful, your Macchi has the elegant and powerful lines of these classic wooden sport boats on Lago Maggiore and the guy in front adds to that with his coolness.
You asked for it, when you started the kit, being resin, lots of different materials to reproduce, fragile airframe, challenging, but you made it look easy with that fantastic result.

Cheers Rob

This is absolutely stunning, without doubt my new favourite build of the year so far.

Especially good when you consider that the HpH kit was not only resin, but riddled with errors & omissions, as well as fitting together almost as badly as Donald Trump's wig.
