Administrators Clunkmeister Posted May 3, 2020 Administrators Share Posted May 3, 2020 What a fun build! This is a brand new kit, and I ordered one the moment they hit the market. It’s been a very long time since I’ve enjoyed building a model as much as I did this one. It was built OOB including kit seatbelts and all the kit PE. It all fit, and fit well. The decals got a workout with the corrugated surface, but settled down nicely with a couple applications of Micro Sol. Comments welcome. 5

DocRob
Your PZL project was a joy to follow, an inspirational build and the result speaks for itself, a beauty. 7 hours ago, Clunkmeister said: Yep, and a see a couple spots around the pit I need to touch up. Tsk Tsk Isn't it strange how on pics made of your own work, you always figure out small issues, which you haven't seen while working on it for hours. I have the same happening to me all the time. Seems to be a big difference between concentrated, maybe over focused work and contemplating the resulting photos, strange . Cheers Rob
HubertB
Beautiful end-result, Ernie ! If I may, and maybe it’s just the photography, but I still think the nose-cowl ring could benefit from a bit more of metallic sheen and tonal variation. Hubert I’m certainly going to go back and rework a bit here and there, Hubert. In person it looks great, like not burned metal, but the camera does kill some of it. The fuselage is quite monotonous as well in he pictures, so I’ll probably overdo it a bit with the tonal modulations so it shows better here. This is a shelf model and not destined for the contest rooms. If seems I do most of my building for the web these days. But I really just needed to call something done... ha

DocRob
Hannants has five P.11 in their 'damaged' section for 40 GBP with a (that's why) damaged box. Hot offer, that I will skip for not risking serious trouble with my wife, after buying lots of WNW stuff. So hard to resist and for me it's even without taxes. Cheers Rob
1to1scale
That’s a good deal for anyone in Europe. I ordered mine from a seller in the UK, but at the time, Hannants didn’t have any yet. Unfortunately, the current GBP to USD isn’t as good as the EUR, and the long shipping times, make it even worse. We are starting to get some stores in the US that are carrying these. as a side note, a few months ago I ordered several things from overseas, and here are the shipping times I got. China = 11 weeks UK = 3-4 weeks Australia = 5 weeks and counting Germany = Order was cancelled as they could not ship to the US currently. Canada = 2 weeks and counting. Yes, even though we are connected by thousands of miles of terrain, the USPS told me Canada is overseas, I tried to show him a map on my iPhone, but he reasserted that in his system, Canada is overseas. I was not winning this battle, I left, my faith in humanity waning... MN to TN = 3 days

Sometimes you just have to build one for fun with no extra bull crap.
