  5. Ralph, Is that a standard Lizzie camo pattern? The port wing looks a bit naked. Cees
  6. Then the new kit rumoured to be unveiled at Telford soon is right up your alley. Nice flappery. Cees
  7. Hope it's not a scottish design. Cees
  8. Lovely build. These old kits are still worth considering. Cheers Cees
  9. From the latest IPMS UK Scale Model World 2014 News update; http://smwshow.com/news.php "Whilst we are on the subject of traders, Airfix will be announcing a large new model at 11:00 on Saturday at the SMW 2914, I am lead to believe that it will be in 1/24 scale." Hopefully it is a completely new tool kit and not a re-issue "New for 2015", given how misleading and vague the Airfix marketing has been recently describing re-issues as "brand new" etc. Another couple of possibilities are a re-issue of the 1/24 Mosquito as a bomber, and possibly the 1/24 Typhoon with a car door. Unquote Exciting news. Cheers Cees
  10. I have a feeling one of these sets are the bee's knee's for my Tiffy Cees
  11. I have the same opinion, you should really see that basking shark like intake. Cees
  12. Tom, I will look up any flap schematics in the manual. Cheers Cees
  13. Fantastic build, very realistic. Well done. Cheers Cees
  14. Tom, Very interested if you decide to drop the flaps or not. Will take a huge chunk out of the bottom wing halves. But it would look great. If you need pics of the construction just give me a shout. Cheers Cees
  15. Brass tubing would certainly be the way to go. Cees
  16. Tom, Here is a small selection taken from the AP Cheers Cees
  17. Just applied for a knitting workshop...... Amazing paintwork. Cees
  18. Hmm, something is brewing in the back of my head. Must ....fight ......it.... Cees
  19. Tom, Looking forward to see this project evolve. If you need any information give me a shout. The museum George and I work for as volunteers has been investigating a Stirling wreck and we have found a lot of items from the cockpit. There is an ID Models Stirling on e-bay at the moment and I am seriously tempted. Cheers Cees
  20. No news about that yet. But speaking for myself I would like to Finnish it in a Dutch livery LOL. Cees
  21. It has build-in headwind. Cees
  22. From the horses mouth; the 1/32 Fokker DXXI will be available in 1 or 2 months time. Yessss Cees
  23. Hi Frank, Well I have been working on it for for a week now. Mostly cleaning up and building the cockpit. Nothing diffirent from the pics you and George have posted. As soon as the paint has been sloshed on it I will post pics. Cees
  24. Frank, Great view just the fuselagestructure with wings. Airfix really gives you the experience of building an aeroplane. Did you have any problems with alignment of the cannonbarrels? Can the fairings still be fitted properly? Cheers Cees
