  1. The Mk V's were used in the Tempest, not in Tiffies as far as I know. Cheers Cees
  2. So in russian my name is spelled Cec, now I know why I always seemed to forget an e. Must have been a previous life. Cheers Cec
  3. Ahh mooi en welkom. Good start on your LSM career. Cees
  4. Indeed, Very nice Johann. I have one too underway which will be converted into a bubbletop. Apparently Napiers painted instructional Sabre engines green, the operational ones were black. Cheers Cees
  5. Now you're talking. LOL Cees
  6. Ok, looking forward to that. Cees
  7. Typhoon hands down. Cees
  8. So do I James. Perhaps with black and white undersurfaces. DW K is also one of my favourites. Any decals available? Did a search but not much came out of it. Cees
  9. I have started on the new Revell Spitfire. So much talk about this kit but ever so few real builds. Those who have consider it to be a nice kit with an unbeatable price. So far I have put the wing and feathers together. Haven't made up my mind what mark it will be. Can be any of three. But chosing which has some effect on altering the kit parts. I will be using the Eduard interior set. I might go for a Mk Va. Who knows. I do have sanded off the strange patches. Still need to restore the line. Anyway, crappy pic time. Cheers Cees
  10. Very nice review Mike. Cheers Cees
  11. Got a message from Graham. The cockpit has been redesigned and is nearly ready. He got some more copies of the original drawings which confirmed that his work was right on the ball. Some more tweaking. When there is more news we'll let you know. Cheers Cees
  12. It's been a while. Will ask Iconicair what's the current status. Will keep you informed. Cees
  13. Well, if you crack it, then the kit is alright then. Cees
  14. Has anyone checked MN235 in Canada if it has the hairline crack on top of the canopy. Cees
  15. As the kit is out, any views on it? I have seen many stories about cracked/flawed canopies. It is not available yet over here (wet Holland). Cees
  16. Nick, Will you do an inbox review? Cees
  17. The end of a fantastic journey Tom. Glad I could contribute some too. Cheers Cees
  18. Tom, You have only made the one bombaimers window instead of the three elliptical ones? Looking great though. Cees
  19. Since having windows 8 I have trouble working at home. Getting logged in is a hit and miss affair. Sometimes it takes forever or it refuses to work at all. And sometimes it performs flawlessly. What I really hate are the updates I am not asking for but cannot avoid. How do I know what they are updating. Really hate that. Cees
  20. And painted with a hairy stick too. Amazing workmanship Tony. Cheers Cees
  21. 0/400 would be great to balance sides a bit. A bit too teutonic at the moment. Come on Wingnuts! Cees
  22. There is a good model in there somewhere. Cees
  23. Must have cost you a lot of putty to get that turret to look like it's cast. Very nice though. Cees
  24. What did you ahum...errr pay for it Chris? Cees
