  1. Nice! Thanks for sharing Brad! They like their Mirages in Australia.... I was especially impressed by the skeleton Horten wing, the splinter-scheme Su-27 and the cargo Bae-146!
  2. Great work, Danny! Isn't the "fabric-weave" on the lozenge decals somewhat too pronounced? Or does it give this impression because of the resolution on my screen (moiré)? Anyhow, looks great!
  3. Hmmmmm, MP 149 seems like a nice scheme....
  4. Hehehehe! The tar and feathers are being readied in Barneveld........
  5. I see some contenders that are useable straight from the box. Dragon's M4A3 (75)w both decal options are correct and from the Trier / Saar region early 1945, M4 "Normandy", M4A3 (76)w, the M4A4's are especially nice to use for British units during "Operation Aintree" (the attempted outbreak from around Eindhoven to Venlo, first by the U.S. 7th AD, later on by the British 3rd Infantry Division and the British 11th Armoured Division. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Overloon ), as would be Dragon's Sexton SPG for example. The M4A1 (76)w "Cobra" also contains decals for the Polish 1st Armoured Division which liberated Breda, for example. I don't have to mention Tasca's M4A3E2 "Jumbo's" do I? Also M4A3E8's were used in the closing days in Germany, mostly with T66 tracks, I think. I have a limited boxing by Tasca for the M4A1 DV, the 3rd option is this tank that was knocked out in Southern France in August 1944!! And let's not forget the Sherman V (17pdr), commonly known nowadays as the Sherman Firefly! Or Hobart's Funnies: the M4 DD: The Sherman "Crab": And for instance the Sherman BARV: So, I think you've got your work cut out for you!
  6. No, I guess some Dutch would yell "Tering!" but since that is also slang for tuberculosis, it isn't seen as teriibly eloquent. Neither is "Allemachtig!" as that is perceived by those in our own Bible-belt to be derived from "Almighty" and as such would be cussing... I gues it was just being thick-fingered....
  7. I'd rather have a good M60A1 or M60A3 or a U.S. M48 as used in Europe...
  8. Ah, great! very nice choice! I'm very interested BTW how the PE Zimmerit looks under a coat of paint.
  9. Onky if it was operational on the Western Front!
  10. Search your stash for models from D-Day to VE-Day and participate! You have 11 months, just like the GI's needed to get the nazis on their knees! http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/forum/169-beaches-to-berlin-d-day-to-ve-day/
  11. Ah! Very good start! I like your way of highlighting the detail!
  12. I'm starting to warm to the subject.... The tooling looks super, makes me want to snip parts from sprues...!
  13. Ah, I was looking how you did this Bertl! Thanks very much!
  14. Mmmm, thanks... Looks like they think it's a rigid mounting...
  15. Very nice progress!
  16. There were some Do 335's finished and delivered from January 1945 onwards. Does anyone know if any were in combat?
  17. Guys, my WnW-kit contains a flight instrument for the right fuselage side that is fitted in 3 springs for a shock-free mounting. Does anyone have a photo of this instrument and to where/what the springs are attached to? Cheers, Erik.
  18. I agree with Jeroen! You're further on the way to finishing it than I am, and I am really working on it!
  19. Ah, Cees, the unit is only in need of a bit of calibration....
  20. Ah!! Very nice!!!! Is this the same mold as from "Czech Model"? If so, there were some concerns about accuracy, especially in the resin for the cockpits / seats. If these concerns were true, are these areas modified? Thanks in advance for your answer, Petr! Cheers, Erik.
  21. Ah, those are good prospects, Mal & Airscale!
  22. Yeah, too bad... but that goes for numerous other kits too, like the AD-4 and the A-6A...
