Yup, Cees is right, if they were going rusty then they were time ex. I reckon a very light dusting of light grey on ends of the rear 4 (simulate the heavy use and lead in the paint) and a wash over the top and they will look the bizzo! Old story though....study pics. And C'mon any modelling updates? I am having withdrawls….

Will do Ron, might get you to send it to my mate on Long Is as he is coming out to NZ in March and will have my 1/32 Wild Hare Brit Phantom conversion with him already. I think he is coming over to fly/display/crew the PBY for Warbirds Over Wanaka and told me to get my butt down there so we can drink Beer and tell stories LOL. Will email you direct though about that and payment etc. I have just updated my build thread on my 24th Mosquito over on LSP, you might be interested in a wing issue I had to deal with Cheers Anthony

Thanks Ron, I couldn't find it, I am guessing someone beat me to it! Quite fancy doing an RNZAF Antarctic Flight one on ski's. Anyway, timing probably wasn't very good for me money-wise as I have just forked out a pile of dough on parts for my Auster rebuild. I shall enjoy watching your beautiful work and hopefully one will turn up when I can afford it LOL Cheers Anthony -

Were all thinking of you buddy....get well soon and we look forward to hearing from you when you are able to report back. But look after yourself first before worrying about us! Cheers Anthony

This will be great, might be just what I need to crack on with my Tamiya Trainer conversion or my 24th Airfix one as well.... -
LOL, pleasure mate! Its a community of sharing information, that's what makes it so great. It's always a pleasure to help fellow modelers, especially on the Mosquito for me, as I have had a lot to do with them over the years. As well as working extensively with Tamiya (and several others of course) to do the 32nd kit, I have a real love for them. Cheers Anthony
