Ryefield Model German Staff Car Type 82E
Clunkmeister replied to JeroenPeters's topic in Armour/AFV Reviews
Are these available yet? I can think of a hundred uses around German aircraft for these little cars. What a great kit! I’ve never seen the Revell kit, saw an ICM one built and it was interesting to say the least.- 11 replies

Hey folks, I'm looking for some feedback and/or direction. The point being, I lack a decent display case. My goals are: At least 24" DEEP to accommodate the big stuff. 36-48" WIDE for those big wings, and I'd say 72" or even a bit more HIGH. I'd love to know what y'all did. I'll probably look for one or two now, and maybe more down the line. Ideas?

The bottle on the top is a cool touch. Just curiosity, but are Maple trees common in that area? -

Finally a Float Plane thread...lets post some pics
Clunkmeister replied to Jeff's topic in General Discussion
The north country is littered with the hulks of Junkers, Fokkers, Fairchilds, and Norsemen. DHCs used to be as well, but Otters and Beavers are worth their weight in gold and are all hauled out for rebuilding. -

Peter, again, I’m mumbling to myself, my friend. I need to be in Telford for this one... -

And I thought I personified the term “backwoods country redneck”. Cat, your Dad was so obviously WAAAY cooler on his worst day than I am on my best. That story is now legend. -

3D printing would be awesome! Tony, I like that idea. I’m a go for one with a wicker basket on top, elephant style and a 1/72 scale dude with twin 50s on a swivel mount. -

YES! That’s our new mascot for sure! Don’t everyone buy at once, because Revell will see the sales spike and produce more. -
Thanks Jeff. There are strange things done in the midnight sun, by the men who moil for gold.... I’m just full of my old favorites today. Tied one on last night across the street, and they apparently poured me out of my boots into bed last night. Joy was not amused. My head feels like a hairy medicine ball.

Does anyone know if anything like that exists? I need a sheet or two of red decal paper. I checked Sprue Bros and Squadron, No Joy. Or do we need to buy white and paint or print it?

Clunkmeister replied to Jeff's topic in General Discussion
That’s a new one for me, actually. Junkers, Stinson, Fairchild, and Fokker had the northern market cornered. I knew Ford had a tough time competing up there. I’m not sure ANY new Fords were bought by Canadian operators. Alaska yes, but Fokker and Junkers and were kings of the heavy lifters -
heck YEAH!!! I love it! Pure awesomeness!

I have no idea Danny. I assumed nothing at all, because you have a massive collection of them to copy from. The helmet looks absolutely perfect to me. So does the rest of the pilot. I struggle with figures, so to see one so well done is a real treat.
