Me too, Phil........... I'm always saying, "Ha that's a B17 NOT a Lancaster"... the best one is when they show footage of the Pearl Harbor attack and the "Japanese" dive bombers, they always look like a Dauntless to me.... you have all seen it, the clip where the 3 birds are tipping over..... bugs the hell out of me...

LOL, I think some guys would call this a 'Day 2 Build", and when they are rusted out completely, it would be ...."ready for restoration".... Love what you are doing here Rob, and the great approach not to make it a show room beauty or a 'garage Queen "..... she is coming together quite nicely..... looks every bit the part for sure..

Just down the the last few kernels , and now into the beer to wash them down............. your work is a feast for the eyes, Mike, the oil stains look absolutely spot on, you are most definitely the master of your hobby, what a pleasure to watch these kits come together.... -
