  1. When word gets around they won't be able to sell many kits. Not until they make some drastic improvements. 🙄
  2. Those guys should post a blanket apology for inflicting this piece of junk on us. Really does hurt their reputation. ðŸĪŠ
  3. LOL Dennis. If you do then be prepared for a high cuss factor build! I think they had the "C" team on this one, certainly not, I hope, the "A" or "B" team.
  4. I'd recommend waiting for a kit review Peter before forking out any $$$ for what might be another crappy kit.
  5. Once I get the windscreen corrected I just wonder what will be next. Those guys at Infinity need to get their act together. As for me, I won't be buying any more of their kits. 🙄
  6. I decided to set the windscreen in place just to check the fit. Here's what I found. ALWAYS gotta be SOMETHING!!!
  7. Finally got the fuselage halves together. With no locating pins/holes it's difficult to get things mated up just right as you can see my all the filler. Oh well!ðŸĪŠ
  8. Thanks Martin. It certainly is a challenge and a real PITA sometimes. I don't blame you for not wanting to tackle it and at times I wish I hadn't! ðŸĪŠ
  9. Thank you Peter.
  10. Thank you Neil. It should make a really nice model but it isn't even close to a easy build. 😉
  11. Another test fitting but with the new seat in place. About ready to join the fuselage halves.
  12. It certainly is delicate and will make a really nice addition to the model. Stay tuned!
  13. I just received this VERY nice seat for the SB2C from RESIN2detail. Really nice! I just hope I don't break anything when I go to remove the casting runners. ðŸĪŠ
  14. Thanks. Not too bad I suppose. A lot better than it was before trimming the bulkheads!
  15. Test fitting the interior assembly.
  16. Fortunately they didn't completely strip the cockpit but they DID leave off a couple of things like the trim wheel on the left of the pilot's seat. A noticeable absence if you are aware of how the "real thing" looked. If I didn't have a copy of the Detail & Scale SB2C book I wouldn't have noticed it. At this point I kind of wish I had bit the bullet and forked out for the complete Resin2detail cockpit set. 🙄
  17. Thank you Dennis. If all goes well it should make a nice looking model.
  18. Yep, they could have done better. Leaves the door open for us to be "creative"! 😉
  19. Thanks Peter. I've done some "readjusting" to some of the part locations to more closely resemble the real thing.
  20. Thanks Andy. I've done some trimming and test fitting already and agree, lots of trimming needed. Their instructions leave a lot to be desired. John
  21. Test fitting the cockpit.
  22. I look at the cockpit and it just doesn't look "right". Maybe it's just me but I think it needs something. Maybe I should have ordered the RESIN2scale complete set but I just didn't want to fork out $50. I expect when the seat gets here it'll add a lot to the "look" (fingers crossed). 😉
  23. Pretty sparse cockpit compared to the real thing. I've added a few placards, etc to "dress it up" some. Photos shortly.
