  1. All done. Check completed works.
  2. Thanks Mark. I'm just about finished with the model and should have some photos posted soon.
  3. Thanks Peter. I tried the black at one time and really didn't see any difference between it and the gray.
  4. I assume you are referring to the NMF. No, I just lay on a primer of Alclad Gray Primer and Microfiller. Works for me.
  5. As said before it will be a gem! I look forward to seeing the finished model.
  6. These particular a/c all had heavy exhaust staining which should look good on the model. I left the cowlings off so I could do that.
  7. Thank you Martin.
  8. Painting done! Now it's time to add the extensive exhaust stains. (I had to put the walkway and fuel marking on before doing any staining. On the real a/c, they covered those in places.)
  9. LOL Martin. (Glad to see someone can spell shiny correctly!)
  10. Thanks Gaz!
  11. So far so good! Thanks.
  12. Thanks Peter.
  13. The first shade of Alclad in on now (Dark Alum.).
  14. Thank you Peter. You are too kind!
  15. Alclad Phil.
  16. More painting progress!
  17. Yes! Finally.
  18. LOL I'm glad you like it Peter. Thanks!
  19. Thanks Carl. Yes, really slim. I've always liked that a/c.
  20. I'll post a couple of pics later today. The unfortunate thing about that particular a/c is it was only used by 2 squadrons which limits the choice of markings.
  21. Yes and I HAD to go on and order one although I have a very nice, built, 1/48 Classic Airframes example.
  22. I'm just glad to have finally reached this stage!
  23. FINALLY got some paint on this build. Not a lot but, as I always told my sons, some is better than none!
  24. As much as I love this hobby sometimes it can sure be a PITA!
