  1. I was hoping to find a Grey Matter prop somewhere but had no luck. I looked in my spares stash and lo and behold I found what I think is a prop from the Trumpeter SBD kit which will fill the bill just fine.
  2. I'm trying my best to hold off on getting this kit until some after market decals are available. The schemes provided just don't do it for me.
  3. Thanks! I guess I'll try to tone the weathering down some but it is necessary to some extent.
  4. I need this for my RNZAF P-40 build.
  5. Thanks Martin. I expect they used more than one type of drop tank. At any rate, I don't intend to attach anything to the shackles.
  6. I'm glad you like it. It's good to know it is still around, even in pieces.
  7. Thank you Harv! I didn't realize when I first started on this one that it would be so striking. Sho be's purty! LOL
  8. Thanks Anthony. I'm pleased with it too. I almost hate to do any weathering! LOL
  9. Finished with the decals. Now for some paint touch-up and a bit of weathering.
  10. Alclad Kleer Kote Flat is my go-to matt coat. Works great.
  11. Thanks. Sorry for the crappy photo. Working on that.
  12. Just about ready for some decals.
  13. Yes indeed! Some great pictures. Thanks!!!!!
  14. This one isn't her. Must be the earlier one. The last two of the serial is 20.
  15. Hmmm. Is this one after a repaint? Looks like she had just returned from the field and hasn't been repainted yet. Tail looks white to me.
  16. Yes indeed. Too bad she is in such deplorable condition.
  17. Great photos Anthony! Thanks. I see I'm going to have to go back and paint the horizontal tail surfaces white.
  18. White areas done and ready for masking off.
  19. Wow! I'd sure like to see some photos if that is possible at some point.
  20. Thanks guys. Just plodding along with this one.
  21. That has been done. Hard to hide 'em. (But I overcame all that on all 5 of my other Hasegawa P-40 builds.)
