LOL Normally that might just fill the bill but I just finished one and I'm not ready for another right now.

I hate it when this happens! I just can't seem to get the "want to". I have the HB F-84E on the bench but haven't done much work on it other than some painting on the AMS cockpit/seat set. Seems I have to make myself go work on it and usually wind up just sitting there and staring at the parts. Bummer!

I stand by what I said about getting the SB2C several months ago from Greg. I don't understand why you are disputing what I said. HpH puts a number with a black marker on each fuselage half. Mine is #189.
-
The SB2C is resin, no fiberglass as far as I can tell. Greg is a stateside HpH vendor. He's on Facebook if you want to contact him.

I got my SB2C from Greg Cooper several month's ago.

Phil, Parts number 20 and 21 are for a closed canopy (as I expect you already know). In a pinch they could substitute for the open canopy pieces #23 & #22. You could still use them, in your case one, to replace the buggered up piece. A little sanding around the outer edges might be needed to enable the "replacement" part to allow the sliding canopy to clear it. Just a thought. John

Looks good. Best of luck on the engine/cowl fitting. It made me say words that aren't even known yet!
-
If anyone has one of these you would sell or trade for please send me a PM.

I hate to hear that. You can get replacement sprues from Tamiya so why not try that? Save the model.

IBG models PZL P.11c. Finished
JohnB replied to Clunkmeister's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Very nice job Ernie. -
Just about ready to get this one started. I just received the cockpit set from Harold at AMS and plan to start everything with that. I want to model the a/c with all the red bomb symbols but the only decals I know of are 1/48. Hopefully this will not be a problem as I think I can re-scale them to 1/32 using my computer and laser printer. We'll see.

Thanks Rob. My apologies for the poor photos. I'm going to have to make some adjustments on future pics. -

Thank you!!! Most appreciated. -
I have re shot these pics and posted them over on Completed builds.

Thanks Ron. It's just strips of white decals. They are supplied on the kit decal sheet. Not difficult but tedious for sure.

This is my 2nd try at posting this. For some reason all the pics were a little blurry after I posted them (the originals are not). So, I'll give it another shot. All done! Another Corsair for the collection. VMF-214 painted with Colorcoats, Model Master and over sprayed w/Alclad clear flat. Decals are from the kit and my stash. I had intended to use HGW decals but decided to take a different route. I hope you like the results of my efforts. Note: For some unknown reason the pics are coming up grainy. I'll re-post over on completed builds and see how they look there.
