I no longer have the parts. It might work out but it would be a waste due to the fact that the quarter windows are all wrong. You would still have to remedy that so I'd just recommend using the Hasegawa E or M for a F conversion.

Some VERY nice models. Good work. I appreciate the help on the masks. He says they should be done in about a week so I should have them in about 2 weeks. No big rush as I am just now getting started on the model.

I'm planning to build the Trumpeter P-40B as either George Welch's or Ken Taylor's a/c. I'm looking for someone to cut me some masks for the side numbers. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! John

Thanks Phil. This is a good time to get something started. -
Some surgery and test fitting. The Hasegawa exhaust cutouts and the quarter panels will fit but require a fair amount of trimming, etc. Not a BIG problem but we shouldn't have to resort to that type of thing to get a more accurate model. If any of you decide to give this a try be advised it WILL involve some cussing.....LOL. And you will need the Hasegawa parts as left-overs from a "N" build. I wouldn't advise robbing them from a complete kit. I'm posting this for your info. I'm not going to start this build at this time. Later on.

Thanks Reuben. No sweat on the LG bay. Left 'em as supplied as I didn't want to fiddle with 'em. -

I had worked on this Hasegawa F6F off and on for about a year but finally decided to go on and finish it. I thought doing it like the one in the photo would be interesting. Would make a great diorama but I didn't want to take it that far. The carrier deck is from Big Tim. Paints used were Model Master. After market includes Barracudacast tires, FineMolds belts and, if I remember correctly, a True Details cockpit. The gun sight is from my spares stash. I hope you like the results of my efforts!
