  1. That's sounds good Rob. By the way, they made a mistake on the "Lulu Belle" decal. It should be yellow, not white.
  2. Thanks. That is a interesting thought. Hard to say what is what on those birds!
  3. Thank you Gaz!!! I don't intend to use all of the PE supplied in the kit as I think some of them are unnecessary. And that saves some work too!
  4. Thanks Bill. I'll check it out. Nice to have options!
  5. Hmmmm. I thought I had a Tamiya tail w/dorsal fin but haven't been able to find it. Bummer! Who was it that was making resin tails?
  6. Thanks! Sounds good.
  7. Feedback appreciated!
  8. Here ya go Jeff.
  9. Thanks guys. I'll post a couple of photos later today.
  10. Yes, they are rare. I found 'em on ebay. They show up there from time to time.
  11. I've enjoyed reading books about US submarine ops in WW II. They would frequently mention using these manuals and that made me want to get some. I'm very pleased to have these!
  12. Not directly model related but interesting nevertheless. Some of you know what a "ONI 208-J" is but for the unlearned among you (LOL) they were recognition manuals the US Navy used in WW II to enable our forces to ID Japanese merchant ships. I'm fortunate enough to have two in my collections. The top one is from 1942 and the bottom one is from 1944.
  13. These Hasegawa P-40 kits have been around for a good while but are still first class and enjoyable to build.
  14. Very interesting Anthony. I figured it had been scrapped long ago. Glad to see it's still around.
  15. I think y'all will enjoy these clips.
  16. LOL I guess I'm just a airplane modeler at heart. Armor, etc distant 2nd but nice sometimes to do something different.
  17. Agreed! Thanks for the pics.
  18. I plan to build this one OOB as Eduard supplies all the needed detail parts.
  19. I intend to return to it later on.
  20. Yes. Moving back to airplanes.
  21. Putting this one aside for now.
