  1. If you have these and will sell them to me please send me a PM with price, etc. Thanks
  2. Here ya go Martin! LOL
  3. Wings fit much better now. Now to do some work on the fuselage and interior.
  4. The landing light is a real toughie. I'll have to refresh my memory on that.
  5. There are molding ridges along the inside front of the wings, both upper and lower parts. These need to be sanded or filed down (but not completely removed) to allow the wing halves to mate properly. I choose to do this as a preliminary to continuing with the fuselage, etc.
  6. Thanks Lothar.
  7. I look forward to seeing your build Ernie. LOL
  8. LOL No way Jose'. Too big and too costly.
  9. If I was able to get it done on my 1st two builds I should be able to get this one sorted out. Fingers crossed!
  10. Here is a shot of my other kit, which I do not intend to build, to show a comparison with the one I'm now building. Just to show the molding attachments that were removed from the other kit. Not a big problem.
  11. Yes indeed! They are really nice kits but ARE a bit of a challenge (and pricey too!).
  12. Indeed! The previous owner had removed the moldings but it shouldn't present any problems.
  13. As you can see there is a bit of cleanup, etc needed. Not a big problem!
  14. Coming along nicely.
  15. Yes Ernie it is too bad it is OOP. Gotten hard to find now. I'll still take one of your stash kits if you decide to let one go at some point.
  16. I have been wanting to build another one of these and was able to get another kit recently so here goes. I plan to use the decals HpH issued for the French AF a/c used in Indochina. Should look really nice. Something a bit different (at least for me.)
  17. Thanks. Their kits are very nice with much detail. Not inexpensive though.
  18. Yes. I forgot to add that in my earlier post.
  19. You need FS 30279 Sand for the uppers and RAF azur blue for the undersides. H&B Hobbies has them in their Colourcoats line. They are: ACRN16 Gulf Pink Sand and ACRN12 Azure Blue. Those are RAF colors but they closely match the US colors.
  20. I know how you feel. Some kits have just a bit more aggravation than others. That's one reason I really like Tamiya. I don't recall ever having any high cuss-factor problems with any of them.
  21. I have been considering doing that but it seems the doldrums have passed for now. However, I have a number of armor kits I plan to build "some day" and some ships too. For now I'll continue on with the F-84. Thanks!!
