  1. I'm going to have to step away from this one for a bit and get back on it a little later on. HIGH cuss factor going on and I just don't need that right now.
  2. Styrene strips will go a long way to helping the fuselage halves meet up and stay put.
  3. Thanks Harv. And thanks for the belts! The P-39D kit hasn't showed up yet. Can you send me a tracking number?
  4. Just to show y'all I AM still working on it. Certainly not a shake & bake but I knew that going in to it after building two previously.
  5. I hope they work okay for you.
  6. It's been a while since I built my PCM kit but here it is just for grins.
  7. Glad I missed it. I had enough drama over on "that other site".
  8. I have a set of PE vents for this kit if you want them. PM me your address and I'll get them on the way.
  9. Not a bad plan at all. I might do that too.
  10. I too am very interested in it but have decided to wait for some build reviews before I buy one (if I can hold out that long!). No matter who you buy it from, if you use PayPal, you won't be risking losing your money (as far as I know at this point). Welcome to LSM!! Good bunch of folks here.
  11. I too look forward to seeing the completed model.
  12. Thanks go to Harv! Saved the day.
  13. If you have these and will sell them to me please send me a PM with price, etc. Thanks
  14. Here ya go Martin! LOL
  15. Wings fit much better now. Now to do some work on the fuselage and interior.
  16. The landing light is a real toughie. I'll have to refresh my memory on that.
  17. There are molding ridges along the inside front of the wings, both upper and lower parts. These need to be sanded or filed down (but not completely removed) to allow the wing halves to mate properly. I choose to do this as a preliminary to continuing with the fuselage, etc.
  18. Thanks Lothar.
