Hmmmm. I thought I had a Tamiya tail w/dorsal fin but haven't been able to find it. Bummer! Who was it that was making resin tails?

Thanks! Sounds good.

Feedback appreciated!

Thanks guys. I'll post a couple of photos later today.

Yes, they are rare. I found 'em on ebay. They show up there from time to time.

I've enjoyed reading books about US submarine ops in WW II. They would frequently mention using these manuals and that made me want to get some. I'm very pleased to have these!

Not directly model related but interesting nevertheless. Some of you know what a "ONI 208-J" is but for the unlearned among you (LOL) they were recognition manuals the US Navy used in WW II to enable our forces to ID Japanese merchant ships. I'm fortunate enough to have two in my collections. The top one is from 1942 and the bottom one is from 1944.

These Hasegawa P-40 kits have been around for a good while but are still first class and enjoyable to build. -

Very interesting Anthony. I figured it had been scrapped long ago. Glad to see it's still around. -

LOL I guess I'm just a airplane modeler at heart. Armor, etc distant 2nd but nice sometimes to do something different. -

Looks like it's coming right along . I'm considering building that a/c too as it really appeals to me. I have the decals ordered so I'll have to do some research on it. I don't know if you know it but there is a book named "Wet Wings and Drop Tanks" concerning this bird. I just ordered a copy on Amazon. Whenever you get the prop blades sorted out I might want to get a set from you if you don't mind doing that. Keep up the good work!!!

And this fits into this thread how may I ask?????

I might rethink the color scheme on this. Dk. yellow, brown and dk. green might be better. We will see. -

I plan to go very easy on rust. Mostly mud and dirt with a bit of wear.
