  1. What a easy build. Since everything fits it really goes fast. Faster than I had expected. I'll start on the GSB paint job next.
  2. The decals worked out fine Peter. Looking good!!
  3. I dunno Peter.🙄 I recommend holding off on getting another KH P-39 until you see some kit reviews. If it's the same ol' same ol' don't waste your money, etc.
  4. It's a nice kit and should build up to be a looker.
  5. Thanks very much Mike! I'm pleased that you like it.
  6. This one's been in my stash for quite a while and now is the time to build it. Should be a easy build with little or no after market stuff except for the decals. This Navy bird on this Aeromaster sheet will be the subject.
  7. Finished. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/19790-sh-p-400-done/
  8. This kit originally was a P-39N/Q but I decided to build it as a P-400. That doesn't call for any big modifications just leave off the .50 wing mounts and replace the kit exhausts with P-400 type exhausts. I don't have any of that type and that is why I've asked here for some help. ZILCH so far.
  9. Agreed Ernie, thanks. Too bad Trumpeter do it right in the first place.
  10. I'm pleased that you like them Peter, thanks!!
  11. Just for grins I decided to post some shots of both my P-51B conversions. The base kit was the Trumpeter kit. The nose on the USAAF a/c is from a Revell "D". The nose on the RAF a/c is from a old Monogram kit. I hope you enjoy perusing 'em. Please remember to click on the 1st photo for best resolution and to view the photos as a slide show. (Yes, it makes a big difference!)
  12. I built their -5 Profipack kit a while back and thought I'd follow up with another but , as things go sometimes, I decided to take a different route and work on something else for now.
