Agreed Kevin, thanks! (I was trying to be very careful not to over do it. A lot of the weathering is a heavier than usual coating of Alclad Kleer Flat. (The thing about using that technique though is you don't quite know what you've got until it's had time to really dry. I've had it come out looking like the model was sitting in the desert after a sand storm! LOL Needless to say, that one had to be repainted, etc.)

Thanks Kevin! That was the effect I was trying for and I think it worked out well. I'm glad you like it.

Thank you Paul! Very much appreciated.

KH T-28C from SOD is back on SOD.

I rarely toss a kit in the trash bin since if you do that any useful parts that you could use later on are gone. That's the reason I have so many spare parts set aside in boxes and drawers. -

This would have been my 4th KH T-28. Too bad it's proving to be such a PITA. -

BACK TO THE SOD! Way too much of a PITA to keep trying to fix. -

When I did some test fitting I found the fuselage has a bit of a warp problem. 🤪 The wheel wells were in place in the 1st photo but I was able to work them loose and remove them in the next 2 photos. I'll work on straightening it out at least to a workable degree. Now I remember why it was on the SOD (and it just might return there!). -
Another fugitive from the SOD up next. I plan to do this one as another RLAF AT-28C with weapons, etc. It should go well with the 1st one I did a while back.

Finished with this one. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/19851-eduard-f6f-3-hellcat-rfi/

Finished with this one this afternoon. Nice little 1/48 kit of a -3 Hellcat that has very few cuss factors. At first I intended to build one with the later style national insignias but decided on this one as the red surrounds seem to really look good on the Hellcat. Painted with Tamiya Gloss White (undersides), Xtracolor Intermediate Blue, and Xtracolor Sea Blue. Decals all came from my decal stash. I hope you like it. Click on the 1st photo for best resolution ,etc.

I was glad to be of help Peter. Your Corsair is looking great!

Thanks! Takes a good bit of trimming, puttying, and sanding but a very possible "conversion". If I had another doner "D", preferrably Revell, I'd likely do another one.

Thanks Martin. I appreciate it.

Actually Peter tomorrow (Sunday) is the day unless I get on a roll later today (Saturday).

LOL More likely Sunday but we'll see.

Thanks Peter. The build is going well. I'm starting on the decaling today so it shouldn't be long before it's finished.

Been working on this one for a few days and decided I'd go on and post some pictures. Painting about done except for some touchup. Decaling next then weathering, etc.

Thanks Chris. I'm glad you like the results of my "labors". LOL
