  1. I installed a nice Eagle Parts cockpit set, FineMolds belts, and Quick Boost guns. I'll clean up the seams and then attach the rear fuselage pieces.
  2. LOL That's a good thing then Peter.
  3. RLM 76 is correct Peter. Or it could possibly be RLM 84.......
  4. LOL Don't get your hopes up. Anyway, it's not all that different from the two I'm considering.🙄
  5. Yes for now Peter although I've decided to consider the 1st one also. I did some photo shop changes to see how it would look in this scheme.
  6. I've decided on the third one, blue 7 bar. HOWEVER, I plan to make some changes on the camo. Nothing drastic, just a few "adjustments". "Artistic license"! LOL 83 and 81a on wings. In the absence of good color photos proving me wrong I'm gonna stick with this. (The Eaglecals sheet has it a bit different but, like I said, no good color photos are available AFIK.)
  7. Yep, I see that now. I was looking at their side numbers. 🤪
  8. This time another Hasegawa/Revell kit. Late war Bf-109K. I'm undecided on which one but it will be one of these 4 shown in this book. Stay tuned! Click on the photos for a clearer view.
  9. Thanks Phil. I'm pleased with it too. That yellow tail gives it a different than usual look I think.
  10. Thanks Gaz! I'm glad you like it. I found that little antenna post on the carpet under my desk! Glad I didn't have to scratch one. LOL
  11. Finished with this one! https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/19234-fw-190d-9-completed/
  12. Hasegawa/Revell kit. Enjoyable kit to build with very few headaches. After market used was the True Details cockpit set rescued from the '190A-7 that crashed and burned (yes, I know it's a bit different in a D-9 but I used it anyway!). Painted with MM, AeroMaster, Mr. Color, Mig and some of my own "mixes". Decals are from Eaglecals. I really like the very late war Luftwaffe color schemes and I plan to do some more. I hope you like it!
  13. Thanks Peter. I was hoping to avoid that on this build. 🤪 Now I'll have to scratch one as I haven't been able to find it.
  14. Tail painted! (And of course I managed to break off the antenna post.) 🤪
  15. Thank you Peter. I'm looking forward to applying the decals as I think they will really set it off nicely.
  16. Camo painting done. Next will be a overall clear gloss in preparation for decaling. That light green RLM 82 sure looks unusual but will be fine after decaling, etc is done. (There is some confusion in references as to what is RLM 82 and what is RLM 83. Some say 82 is dark green while some say it's the light green. Same goes for the RLM 83. Go figure. I just go by photos and/or good artwork and make my own decision as to what's what, etc.)
  17. Thanks Peter. It's some of both. During the war paint suppliers had different interpretations of what certain colors should look like plus there might be several different suppliers. It also depended on what they had available to work with. And there would be several different "companies" supplying a/c components which would lead to even more diversity, etc. About the same rule applies to model paint makers today although I don't think the supplies are as difficult to come by plus references are much more available, etc.
